Favourite Toy Line

There have been alot of toy lines over the years from Hasbro and Takara so I thought I'd ask people what there favourite was.

At the moment I would have to say that my favourite has to be the new Classic/Henkei line. I love the way that they have kept the colours from the originals (more so on the Henkei line) and the way that for the most part the alt and bot modes look more like an updated version of the origionals than anything completely new and in some cases even the transformation is similar.

Greatness.

I appreciate henkei/classic toyline(I prefer henkei for your own reasons)and in fact I have an Astrotrain that thanks to all his modes and grey coloring is one of my favorite robots of my little collection :D .

anyway my true favorites are always G1 above everything else, they're immortal and have a great series of awesome figures.

Also animated has a very interesting and cartoonish style and i like buying a little of these figures especially for the robot mode.

I can't decide either. I grew up with G1 and like that series very much, but Universe/Classics and Animated have become favorites as well. So, for a top 3-list, those would be my choices!

G1s are great, but they're guilty of a few pet peeves:
being fragile and expesnive at the same time.
being partsformers (and not stowing all parts in each mode)
often being over-simple.
Some of my top series would be:
Movie/RotF toys
Classics (including the new castings for C2.0)
Alternators
G2
Cybertron (if they could have left the key gimmick of SOME of them, this would be one of my top three)
in no particular order.

Classics/Universe 2.0 for me.

I've had a couple small G1 collections but I always end up parting with them because of the lack of posability and all the flaws TT listed. Henkei loses points for being cost prohibitive for me, and some of the chroming seems out of place.

Universe/Classics/henkei is my favorite hands down.

The RotF(not including first movie), RiD, and Animated are tied for second.

G1 is my all-time most favorite line! :D Guess it's b/c of the diecast metal and real rubber tires! And those combiners.....you gotta love them!!!
And can't forget: Fortress Maximus and Tripicon and Metroplex!

There were several G1 Japanese figures that are awesome too! Such as: RoadCaesar, LioKaiser and Raiden! :D

G1 really is the best when it comes to combiners.
No other line has had much to compare with it.
Except RiD in my opinion, with Rail Racer, Landfill, Omega Prime, and of course Ruination, Bruticus in disguise.

RiD's combiners were exceptional. The series just came off as an awkward mix of G1, G2, BW, BM, holdovers, recolors, and some really cool new castings. Not to mention like half the line being store exclusive...

I have to say that G1 are my favorite. Its what got me started. I have bought some of the ROTF series and those are awesome. Especially the human alliance series.

Alternators/binaltech

Some of the best designed figures come from this line. {But it does include a few stinkers. EG Alt prime}

As a line though the lineup is good.
