G2 leader megatron

I have a gun that sure seem to be the same mold as the G2 leader megatron (the green and purple tank). But its gray not black.
TFU.info lists a recolor of that figure, although the reissue also uses a black gun.
Does anyone know if there was another figure that was issued the same gun,or is the gray version just a KO?
