Although I think IDW comics seem somewhat convoluted, I do enjoy how M.A.S.K. is portrayed as a special unit created to stop the cybertronian threat.

My comic experience is admittedly narrow, but I feel like any comic universe that goes on long enough gets convoluted, slowly and gradually. I haven't read too much into the Revolutions crossovers yet but it sounds like it could be a good re-imagining of MASK!
