Facing The Giants...it's a movie about a coach trying produce a winning football team. But there is a twist, it has a Christian theme about putting God first in your life and putting your faith and trust in Him to take care of you and situations that happen in your life. As result the coach is able to gain the players trust and convince them that if they want to be successful football champions, they have to let go and let God have control. As result they go all the way to the championship and win it! It is based on a true story!

It was very refreshing to see a movie NOT afraid to mention and talk about God and not have any cussing in it! It's a tear jerker but in a good way not a sad way! I highly recommend it!

Has no one here seen the new Indiana Jones movie?

Seriously?

Well, since I am here, and all logged in, and whatnot.

This movie is friggin great. A bit over the top, but no more so than Last Crusade.

There are some out there that detract from the artifact, and the origins of said artifact, but there is nothing in the film that contradicts beliefs held by the Maya for a few thousand more years then the subject matter from movies 1 & 2.

Just approach this film from an open mind aspect, and it is great.

Even Shia Lebouf didn't ruin this one for me (and if you have ever heard me talk about the Live Action TF movie, you know that means a bunch).

The movie contains multiple nods to the previous films (you are safe skipping Temple of Doom), and the Young Indiana tv show. However, if you haven't seen that show, you will not miss out on anything.

If you haven't seen it, get out there and do so. If you have seen it, go back, Lucas needs the mopney! :P

I'm an Indy fan and I loved the new one.

all the nay-sayers are mental. It has everything an Indy movie needs.
I had no real complaints at all.

Myself and Rodimus went to see it a couple of Fridays ago. We called a truce and left our allegiances....somewhere... Anyway, I really enjoyed it. It is the first time since I watched Snatch that I haven't looked at my watch during a movie. An excellent show and I recommend anyone to go and see it. :D

Yeah, I've seen the new Indy movie. For me, I thought it was a good movie in it's own right, I.E. interesting storyline, but if I'm totally honest, I thought it was a little un-Indy, like he was just attached to it. The final sequence was too CG heavy too, but it's a modern film, what you gonna do? Overall though, I did enjoy the film though - well worth the price to see it on the big screen.

That's huge, and I hope that's the case, because I really have a feeling he IS going to ruin it for me. I seriously can't stand him. :x

I loved it! It was a great film. Alot of people dont like it cuase they still want to see him in the 30's and 40's. He's much older and they have to move the timeline! The critics hate it, so you know its good.

Speaking of Shia........I saw "Bobby" on either Showtime or HBO I can't keep them straight.........

Gentlemen avert your eyes now..........

There is a Shia LeBoeuf nude scene where you see his bum bum and girls its not just a peek.... its a good several minute look. :D

I feel its worth slogging through the movie for that!

What? I think he's cute! I wish Bumblebee was in it too!

Guys, I've gotta say ... I'm with Cliffjumper on this one. Saw it today and I was rather disappointed. Characterization-wise, it was perfect, but plot-wise ... I had to suspend belief far too many times and in too many different ways for me to be able to fully enjoy this one. Makes me sad.

It's an Indiana Jones movie and you were expecting it to be totally realistic? :-P

yes, there were things that couldn't really have happened or been survived. But I don't care, the greatest adventure hero of all time is back baby!!

No, not TOTALLY. I was willing to overlook certain things, but there were a couple of big things that, for the sake of spoilers, I won't mention.

Will you stop taking my disappointment in the movie as some sort of personal attack on you, please? Nutty Indy fans...

We saw the Indy movie and Kung Fu Panda tonight at the drive in. They were both okay but neither movie was a "I gotta' see it again right now and buy it when it comes out!!!!!"

Some kids lit rolls of toilet paper soaked in some sort of accelerant and tossed them to each other using sticks before the movies started tonight. That was fun to watch.
