What exactly are we doing?

Edit: TT explained it. You actually did it wrong - as an example:

Universe 2.0/Classics Ironhide DOES NOT share the same mold as Smokescreen.

You just match up figures that have the same (or slightly modified) molds (e.g. G1 Frenzy and G1 Rumble, or Alternators Swindle, Hound, and Rollbar).

On the 1st page, select the series of interest to bring up the toy thumbnails. Then simply check the box next to the similarly-molded figures, and hit the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the page.

There is also a verification page for you experts, to certify the matches. If anyone is interested in overseeing the verification, please let me know as I'm not 100% sure on some of the later lines!

Oh, and as some have noted, there are some figs with multiple modes (triple changers, etc)...it is OK to group them together as the same mold.

For figures composed of more than 1 part (G1 Prime, for example), you can match G1 Prime cab with G1 Magnus cab, but do not match G1 Prime cab with G1 Prime trailer, as they are different molds :)

Yeah, that's because I don't have pix for that series yet...they'll show up when TT and I work that out :)

Do we hit submit after each match?

Most of them say already matched, do we skip them?

Yeah, look for ones with white backgrounds...if you know of any with white backgrounds that have color variants, that means they need to be matched up, even if the match has a colored background :)

Note that in some cases you might not find the match, that just means we don't have a picture of it yet (e.g. ROTF figures)

All that was needed is a catalyst... and the machines of war are set in motion.

No you don't. Most molds have already been matched by now, but there are probably still some left.
