Just got my new XBOX 360, the halo reach one. Unfortunately since this is my first xbox. So I have to play halo 3 and odst first.
This is the first time I've played 360. I have had a PS3 for the last year, and compared to that I find some short comings with the 360. Most glaring: the 360 controls use BATTERIES! My ps3 ones are usb rechargeable ones, and using the cord I can play them and charge at the same time. Considering how much the controllers cost to buy I have no clue why xbox went with batteries. Or rather I do seeing as how they sell charge kits separate, cheap shits.
I suppose its neat that the headphones plug into the wireless controller. But still a lot of problems with that. The packaged ones are the same cheap $10 ones you can get for your PC from skype. But here they use 1 plug rather than a usb or separate jacks for the mic and headphone. Which means I'm stuck using the crappy included ones rather than any of the other 9 headsets I already own. And plugging them into the controller means they'll drain the batteries even faster, yay!
Having to pay for the online sucks, but since I got a year free with the xbox, and some additional time with some of the games I bought I'm not overly worried about that, yet.
Also considering the way the xbox eats games, I'm really leary of buying used ones. Especially on ebay where I would get the best deal.
I think the whole avatar thing is asinine. Especially since it limited to the stupid human options. It seems like they want you to make it a mini you. Which I find moronic. One of the best parts of playing games is to step inside the role of someone else. I fail to see why they don't let me pick avatars from the games I own.

Picked up a M.A.S.K (VENOM) Jackhammer 100% complete! Even has the rare, often lost turret gun! Noticed underneath the camper shell it even has a place to store it! How sweet is that?! Kenner really outdone themselves with these toys in the 80's. No matter how much I play with them the spring/gear loaded mechanisms have yet to fail me!
Pure fun! If you don't own any MASK toys yet, then what the hell are you waiting for? Forget about the show (sucks) these toys are fantastic!

Yes sir. Boxed suits me just fine. Have a boxed Thunderhawk sitting on the shelf next to me. Complete/Intact is the main issue, though, because finding parts for the vehicles can be a real pain.
This also arrived today. Will be hung on the wall in line with my other 25th carded Cobras.
Seller was extra cool and threw in some Marauders stuff for free, too!!

The bigger they are the bigger thud they make when they fall!!!
