News from Botcon!

Previously planned animated figures, such as Rodimus, Arcee, Ironhide, Blockout, and Cybetron Ratchet (plus a few others) will still be released in the semi-near future as store exclusives.

THERE IS NO ANIMATED OMEGA SUPREME, Ben.

Classics/Universe will continue with an anticipated return around Fall 2010... this would be right in line with the 2007 movie line/classics conversion. No actual character names have been announced for when classics will continue.

Masterpiece skywarp (G1 of course) will be released as a Walmart exclusive around Xmas this year.


They also showed ROTF leader class Jetfire combining with leader class Prime..... Still don't understand why they can't make a devastator that can transform in small bot mode and combine....

Speaking of Devastator.... Word on the street is that the set is not impressive at all... looks like he is fragile as can be, and "for display only." Supposedly, even though huge, does not seem extremely menacing or mean... it did not translate very well.

TRU will have exclusive reissues of G1 Perceptor and the Insecticons.

Weird Al, and Peter Cullen were both there.

ROTF has multiple human alliance vehicles, to include the BB/Sam, Barricade/Frenzy, plus other sets to include Sideswipe.

There will be a Target exclusive red translucent The Fallen figure, this X-mas.

Do they REALLY need to reissue the Insecticons? Aren't there STILL a few left from the 80s on clearance shelves? LOL.

Yeah, I was really hoping we'd get an animated Omega Supreme figure.

In fact I woud have prefered him to the others that we are getting.

But I guess I'll still be happy with the others.


As for the reissue incecticons: you'll probably be able to get loose originals for cheaper.

I might pick it up since it's a giftset and the artwork is usually pretty decent

I still don't own the US starscream. I also never saw the "walmart exclusive" Alt Ravage and Rumble, got those on ebay too. Store exclusives should be outlawed. Luckily, i have Rattrap to pick up TRU exclusives now Thank you, Rattrap!
