First, let me say I love the site. I hope to be able to contribute some pics or descriptions to it some day, but for right now, my collection is rather lacking.

I was wondering though, in the archives, would there be a way to add the size of the figure/robot mode?

I know at one time there was some chart that either came with the toys, or was in the US Marvel comic. It was a picture of basic character shadows, and the relative size of the character in question had its closest size match shadow highlited. Perhaps this type of chart or a side by side with a common figure (Gen1 Prime?) would work?

As I am rebuilding my collection with some of the newer figures, and want to have them mostly within an inch or two of each other, this would help me shop quite a bit. I would hate to order a figure online that I think would stand toe to toe with Soundwave, and have it turn out to be a minicon! ;)

Just a thought. Please keep up the good work!

It's a good idea...I actually thought about doing something like that a while ago (putting a quarter in the picture along with the part or figure). Now that I have taken so many pictures, it would be tough to go back and start all over :(

Unless I can find some way to automate it, I'll have to leave that to someone else. That is, assuming you don't have some time you could give to me?

One solution would be to add a new field to my database 'height in robot mode'. I don't have enough time right now to measure everything myself, but if everyone could contribute a little, that would be great. If this sounds like something worthwhile, let me know and I'll set up a program to gather user input.

I will be going through all my transformers in the near future, about 250 of them in total, so I will certainly measure them for height in robot mode. Inches or centimetres?

Since when does size matter??

Inches would be nice Commander. We Americans don't care much for centimetres

No, I guess a wax and a polish would be as close as it would get.

I am guessing this was sort of aimed at me, seeing as how I am rarely here. If I can help in anyway I will.

Ok, I will go ahead and set up a site and post the link here.
I figure it doesn't matter whether you post inches or cm as they are easily converted from one to another, so I will make 2 fields available.

I'll probably request everything be rounded up to the nearest cm or 0.1 cm (if necessary for smaller figures), and nearest 1/4 inch. I'll edit this post when I get the site up.
