my snarl has a completely black head in dinosaur mode with with gold where the two pieces join on the inside of the leg it says hasbro 1980-1984 takara made in china

My ko predaking lasted 2 hours before razorclaw and headstrongs animal heads fell off also some parts were very loose while others were so tight you couldnt move them.

laser beak
Your laser beak looks just like mine. I got mine with my toys are us exclusive sound wave except mine has no markings in side the wings but has the rub sign.The parts on mine dont line up line up to well in cassette mode either.
