Re: Classics Nemesis Prime Prototype ??
Welcome, Chief Thunder! That's definitely an interesting piece, but I'm honestly not sure how to authenticate it without provenance. The leg stamping is correct, since a prototype of a recolor would already have finalized stamping and use the finalized mold (a prototype of Classics Optimus may not, ...

That roleplay sword is cool, I had no idea they existed! I'm sure it's as rare as hen's teeth.
Your Silverhawks collection looks gorgeous, those figures are getting hard to find in that nice of chrome condition.

Nice! Are you going to do the other two?
I was always a big fan of Rail Racer/JRX, it's too bad Transformers hasn't gone back to that well.

Re: Fixing siezed snap out wing arm feature on SilverHawks figures
Excellent fix suggestion! I've noticed a phenomenon in some Transformers and other toy joint functions where dust (sometimes dust eroded from the plastic from itself) accumulates in a microscopic layer that increases the friction a bit too much for the torque to overcome. I wonder if compressed air ...

Re: Collab Video
I'm glad you enjoyed the Shinkalion set! To be honest I loved the concept of Shinkalion, and wanted to get into it more, but they didn't catch me as much once I had them in-hand. I am surprised TakaraTomy hasn't done anything to properly cross over between Shinkalion and the Transformers brand. Woul...

B e a s t W a r s (but you already knew that)
Other than that, uh, Rescue Bots? Transformers hasn't really had a lot of great, well-written, character-driven shows.

Re: Chronicles Scare Glow (MOTU)
He looks great, I just wish he was still in Masterverse scale! The flame collar kinda feels Ghost Rider-ish, and I can't take Ghost Rider seriously since the Nick Cage movie of the 00's.

Re: The MOTU trailer and upcoming toylines!
I'm also looking forward to the film, and the trailer did look promising. (certainly better than marketing for Transformers One!) I'm also sad about Masterverse, I really liked that scale, and the figures looked simultaneously unique but also homogenized regardless of which continuity they came from...

The figures that WEREN'T were the pack-in gremlins/demons, White Knight, Warlock w/ Yellow Wings, and Battle Wagon.

Re: Airachnid!
What yer gonna wanna do is go out and buy APC Toys' Night Countess. She's WAY more re-engineered than most of their offerings, and I think she can be wrangled into the spideroid robot mode. The original toy is SO disappointing, even for official purists like me. Night Countess is worth the buy even ...

Re: What are you currently watching?
The more I think back on it, you're right. I guess I never gave it a thought to the fact that the show actually pre-dated MOTU, but yeah, they really did refine the formula with that show, even though they didn't have an ongoing plot or overarching developments. We finished Blackstar because it was ...

Re: Super 7 has greenlit TigerSharks figures!
I'm not sure how I feel about the concept of Super7 releasing something knowing they don't have access to the technique to make it reasonably durable... I think that a big part of chrome durability is 1) prepping the surface to bond the vac-metal, and 2) the bond of the clear or translucent color pa...
