New guy here!
Its hard these days to find people into TF enough to chat with. Its obvious still super popular and there are tons of collectors out there. Do you collect the figures still? Or just into the rp aspect? I picked up a hard copy of the TF RPG Core book the other day. I'm gonna try and run a game for my newly minted 13 year old daughter and her gaggle of friends they are all just getting into D&D and also love transformers. I figure that is a Win Win, though I also love doing some online free form based RP of all flavors.

I skimmed it the other day, though I'm gonna really deep dive it this week. Kids will be done for the summer on Friday. I need to take advantage of what freedom I have left until then.
Wow Denmark! I am rather spoiled. I lived in the USA and now Canada and have pretty easy access to them. I do get being tight, thats where I am at currently.
Though tell me more about this Matrix of Leadership.. 3rd party?

I hope you can find it! I recently moved to Canada from the US most everything I own is in long term storage. I mailed ahead some things. Though most of my neatest figures are in storage. I did manage to get a few neat ones across though.

Re: Look to the North
All this talk of moving makes me tired. We relocated the whole TFL operation from Florida to Wisconsin this winter.
I do want to hear about both of your thoughts on the TF RPG! I used to do D&D fairly regularly, but haven't had time for the last couple years, so I didn't bother picking up TF RPG.

Florida to Wisconsin!? That is one crazy long move. I've never tackled a long term storage before. I am rather proud I managed to get everything I own into a 10x10x10 I packed that sucker to the ceiling. I'd say a good half was just transformers. I will defiantly be hiring movers when the time comes to bring it all from Tennessee to Canada. I am not keen to drive a moving truck that far.
I will defiantly give you my thoughts once I wrap my head around it. Thankfully my players will be 13 year old's, so they are bound to be forgiving. Though even if I was not going to run it. The book is pretty impressive. Great art, and lore bits. Might be worth picking up just for giggles.

When i first saw that, i thought you said you got a Peacemaker--yay, you got a Targetmaster!
Then i realized what you actually wrote and thought, Laughter is the very best medicine. (Remember that when your appendix bursts next week.)
So take heart. This may shock you, but in some ways life is all about change... transformation. Life finds a way... like a surgeon, cutting for the very first time.
Any way you slice it, we're glad you came our way.
Looking way up north: Seph-Blade, why the move to Canada? TT, why the move to Wisconsin? and did i miss out on TFL's "Everything must go, Slashing prices" moving sale?
Much as i enjoy "Order of the Stick", 2000's "Dungeons & Dragons", and "Honor Among Thieves", i've never actually played "Dungeons & Dragons", or any tabletop RPG. How well would the official Transformers RPG you got work with the TransFormerLand RPG? Or flip it around: Would your daughter and her friends care to join our game or the rest of this forum?
Then again, do you remember being 13? Where are you getting this notion that "they are bound to be forgiving"? ;-)
One shall stand; one shall fall; and the one who stands shall help the one who falls to stand once again.

Re: Look to the North
I got engaged, and have moved up here to be with my new family!
The other day my oldest was watching me type up a reply for the forum and asked what it was. So I explained what message boards where. She seemed less than enthusiastic. I really miss them. I used to be involved with several back in the late 90's early 2000's As much as I use Discord and love it, I really miss places like this to talk, share, and write.

Re: Look to the North
Re: Our move, TFL has purchased a building in a small town in Wisconsin to have more working and storage space, and since I'm the boots on the ground for our day-to-day operation, we agreed to WI so I could be closer to family and friends, and also the real estate prices where we bought were MUCH better bang-for-the-buck than Gainesville FL where we were based (and where Trance and Mrs. Trance still live, enjoying having their house back!). One could scarcely buy a decent cardboard box in Gainesville for the price we paid here.
That, and I couldn't do another year roasting in the southern sun. When I moved down in 2013, I was younger and more adaptable, and could still hardly handle the heat, so it was time for Minerva and I to get out of the kitchen.

Re: Look to the North
I grew up in the tamp area. Florida is brutal. I moved to TN in 2002 and while better still hot during the summer months. Now that I am in Canada I am enjoying the weather. I know winter is gonna be the pits but the rest of the year rocks now.
Glad you were able to get up closer to family. That's awesome! Sounds like it all worked out well.
