Transformers: The Movie (1986) in theatres

Unless I've missed it mentioned elsewhere in the forum, or you have better things to do tonight than die, who is going to go see the 1986 Transformers movie in theatres September 17th?
I was kind of surprised to see it being released, but then again not, it is the 40th anniversary. It's not a spoiler if they've mentioned it already, but apparently there is bonus footage, perhaps a set up for more film releases aligning with the original G-1 cartoon.
I wouldn't mind seeing The Five Faces of Darkness, Dark Awakening, and The Return of Optimus Prime made into one huge theatrical release movie.
I just want to see Grimlock snicker at the sufferings of the starving Decepticons, Rodimus was right, they were hurting, but Grimlock's enjoyment of it was the very definition of schadenfreude. "Me Grimlock not feel sorry, me Grimlock laugh...."
Stores such as Wal-Mart, Target, and others have Transformers 1986 displays up for the movie release this fall with cartoon versions of toys and of course the omnipresent Funko Pop assortments.

I'll go see it again. I went last time it went back into theaters but I was sick. Hope not this time.

Re: Transformers: The Movie (1986) in theatres
I hope you're not sick too, there's nothing worse than missing an event like this and it not even being your fault. Please don't take this the wrong way, but it was really decent of you to not go and spread what you had to other people though. I hate it when people go out and give Kremzeek to everyone else.
I didn't get to see the movie in 1986, so we're going to take a couple of SUV's worth of neighborhood kids to see it with us, because this is a cultural event hat the next generation needs to witness. I don't know if they will censor Spike's exaltation of dread at the sight of Unicron's voracious maw, but the moms have been informed beforehand.
I don't know how they will react to you know what...but we'll make sure that they know everything's okay.
I can't wait to see fellow fans and what they're going to do (like cosplay) and hear the theme by Lion blasting from the speakers while the credits roll on a huge screen!

Well to be fair, if I recall, I wasn't actually "sick", it was more allergies and i was miserable.
