Hi guys just wondering wat the general consensis was regarding whether you rather opening your TF's or keeping them mint? Obviousley there are some toys that you wouldnt bother opening but you get ones that look so....transformable !

Unfortunatley I am a bit impatient and destroy the boxes!!! Tho if I could do it again I would definitely keep them. Do what Kup had advised, open them but hold onto the boxes.

As expensive as it can get sometimes I like to buy 2 of each TF that way I can open 1 and put the other away in mint condition. That way the ones I open I can crash together and make cool transformer sounds!!!!!!!!

I have them out and pose them. I will do my best to keep the boxes. But how long they will last in a humid environment infested with termites is another story.

Delphi, can you not "flatpack" the boxes and store them in an airtight container, or sealable clear plastic bag?

Megatron read my mind. I store my opened boxes in a plastic seal container broke down and in plastic bags for added protection.

I open and keep pkg. Since it's not too humid, and termite free, it's not too hard to do. G1 I usually buy without boxes. Waaaayyy too expensive.

When was the last time that Rumble of Frenzy tried to wrest control of Lazerbeak, Buzzsaw, and Ravage from Soundwave?

The answer lies only within. I open most of mine. On the other hand, ones that I have seen for a lot of money on dumbay that I have or seen and buy from a retail store stay in the package. Like the energon Grimlock / swoop. I opened one and have another sealed. Energon Beach comber, I got that one and energon Cliffjumper the same day. Beach comber stayed in the box because I had already opened CJ and BC was just a repaint of it. AlT swerve I got and opened. A few months later saw on dumbay for 7X the retail value. Go figure. I don't have much space for every repaint to be on display. I guess that's my own answer.
