Custom Painting

Have you ever repainted an entire figure? I'm thinking about trying a couple things, probably with a classics figure, & I'm looking for advice on what works best for the job.

Not any TF's. But on that subkect i have painted hundreds of minatures [small plastic models],.

Plus most of the repaints i have seen are for the new movie figures.

Depends on the figure but normally its acrylic [rubs off without varnish/protection, brushes can be washed in water.] or enamal paint [once dry cannot be removed, brushes must be cleaned with thinners/white spirt].

Alittle off the subject of painting---has anyone ever made any TF related accessories? Such as energon cubes or jet stands.

edward, be careful with your post submission. You seem to be double posting. if you have a slow connection just hit it once even if it seems to be taking its time.

as to your question, I was given by a guy in work an orange cube that lights up. he was told it was an energon cube. I have taken a good look at it and it has markings on it and if I gave it a light wash of grey, like a metal dark grey it would look kinda like the all spark from the movie. I just gotta motivate myself into going to finding the paint.

Would you not get the paint in that model shop at the back of Castlecourt?
