did they ever make a transformers like, base or something? like turtles they made the sewer and streets and alleys to play with your toys in, anything like that for transformers?

Yes. It was called the S.T.A.R.S. playset, it was a cardboard autobot fortress, by mail in.

Hn. that's not the one i'm thinking of, it was far less cheap.
