ID-help needed...

Post by Lakitu »

Hi!

I need some help to identify a TF, that I can´t find on this page or any page I have seen...

I don´t know how to upload an image of him, but I´ll try to describe him:

A decepticon, large guy (maybe 35 cm tall in robot mode), transforms to a large jet or spacecraft, can also transform into a base.
The colors are mainly black, light grey, blue, a bit of turquoise (on some loose parts) and purple (also on loose parts, like his weapon and other mounted guns).
His weapon is a big purple gun, thas is able too shoot black missiles.
He also has two smal guys that transforms into engines, like some TF powermasters. They are inserted into his chest, and when they´re there, guns pop out of his belly.

I think my parents buyed him in the late 80´s or maybe early 90´s...

Does anybody know how this guy is?

Thanks / Magnus

Overlord. He was produced in Japan in 1988, and Europe in 1992. He's a double powermaster... the engine guys unlock his ability to transform. If you list what parts you have, i can tell you if he's complete or what you're missing!

Okay...I think I remember that name now when you say it...

Well, I think I have everything but the little car, and 2 of his missiles (for the gun, I think it was originaly 3 of them)...

By the way, since I live in Europe, it´s the european version...

Is he worth anything? As I sayed, I haven´t seen him on any TF page...
He´s in fairly good condition, I didn´t play with it very much...the stickers are all there, I think, but they are be a bit torn. Otherwise there is no damage to him, and most of the joints are tight (only the wings are a little loose, but they still work).

The link below shows pics of my version:

A friend of mine paid nearly USD300 for his, complete and boxed. Another paid nearly USD400. I have seen incomplete ones though, going for EUR60 (tank and jet only). So you may have an idea on how valuable is. Overlord wasn't available outside Europe and Japan, so it's fairly uncommon elsewhere.
