Supreme Cybertron Starscream

I got my starscream a couple of days ago and i figured out how to transform it but i dont know how to use the keys and what they do. is there any electronics? how do they work and where do the batteries go? anybody have a set of instructions?

don't the keys simply make the weapons on his arms spring forward?
