Motormaster & Snarl

Post by MC Breakdown »

Ok, first off, I want to paint some eyes and generally improve the face of the G1 Motormaster I just got. He looks a bit..plain. Any suggestions or guides for this?

Also, my G2 snarl has severl of the little plastic pegs that have snapped off long ago, such as the one that holds his two tail sections into one & the ones that hold the legs so the hands don't pop out. Any idea how to fix this, or should I buy a junk one and switch the parts?

About Motormaster:go to a modelling/wargaming store to buy paints (buy paints that you can clean the brush with water) and a thin brush.

About Snarl:Can you post some pics?It would be easier to see the exact damage.Of course,if you find a junker one for cheap i'd say go for it.
Far over the Misty Mountains cold, To dungeons deep and caverns old. The pines were roaring on the height, The winds were moaning in the night, The fire was red, it flaming spread, The trees like torches blazed with light.

The best way to fix that Snarl would be replacing parts, as a "gluing" choice would not last as these are parts which have to take too much traction. The dino legs won't make too much trouble if Snarl is going to sit transformed, as the weight alone will prevent the fists from popping out.

My suggestion, if you can't upgrade it with a new one (I wouldn't mess, for example, with a gray or red G2 as they are not so common), is to leave it as is and place a clear elastic band holding the tail. It's completely removable and won't alter the figure at all, while it will hold tight.

I only have my webcam. But what you both suggested sounds good. Thank you! =D

A junker Snarl shouldn't cost too much, but wouldn't it be hard to tell if the parts he needed were there?
