Transformers 2 (SPOILER MINEFIELD)

Two things...

Is anyone else at all concerned about the possibility of the dinobots appearing in a sequel? What I mean is, back in the G1 cartoon, they transformed into giant, clearly robotic dinos. How would such characters fit into the established look of the movie when every other character is disguised as a realistic vehicle? I read the bit about them scanning robotic museum dinos, but that wouldn't be much of a disguise. They might as well just walk down the street in robot mode, it would cause just as much panic as walking around in dino mode. Anyway, just wondering how they could make the concept work given what we've seen in the first film.

Second, any thoughts on the plot for two? If the whole Autobot/Decepticon war was based on the fight for the Allspark, what's the motivation now that it's been destroyed? And given that Megatron may be gone, wouldn't Starscream just be content to rule over the remaining Decepticons?

If the dinobots were decepticons It would work but as autobots no I can't see them apprearing.

One fragment of the allsp[ark remians and I would think Starscream may come back for revenge.

if you go to the sector 7 website there is a 'classified video' on there that contains Grimlock. There is also one with Insecticons, and a few others.

I think it would be great if the Dinobots came in as follows: Optimus and others find weak readings of energy like their own on Earth or an "Oh crap I've crashed" signal, find it and uncover at least Grimlock...but hopefully Slag, Swoop, Snarl, and Sludge too somewhere buried since the late Cretaceous period. Since the only moving objects on the planet that could match Grimlock (and others) body mass size during that time of geologic earth time would be dinosaurs thats what their automorph technology transformed them into. Since Transformers live for thousands of years it could be plausible that when Cybertron kicked the bucket robots were flung off of it or took refuge on whatever planet they could find. Maybe as a second idea....there is a dinosaur planet somewhere and Optimus' signal gets to Grimlock and they go to Earth then change into cars.

Maybe Grimlock and his friends could be dinobots for a short while until they scan cars and look not unlike the Alternators line.

I could see Grimlock as an H2.

and your second part........

I don't think Megatron is gone. I think that the allspark energy (and energy doesn't go away it just changes form...right, Trance? You're the Doctorate guy)

I think all the Decepticon robots that were killed in the movie and dumped into the Laurentian canal/trench/abyss/whatever all fall together and the energy in Megatron's carcass from the Allspark cube changed form and was retained in Meg's body but remains dormant fo awhile.

Combined with time, the pressures at the bottom of the ocean along with the residual energy from the Allspark Cube... I think the Allspark energy will meld all those dead Decepticons together making...........a nice fun and very evil triple changing combo of Brawl, Bonecrusher and Megatron..... Galvatron

Hows thatfor giggity?

But of course this is just pure speculation. If I could be in the movie I'd like to be a wheelbarrow.

i was just thinking it would be pretty awesome if Galvatron, Cyclonus and Scourge were in the next movie. i was picturing the scene in the animated movie where they are chasing the autobots from autobot city. "do you want me to gut ultra-magnus?" "theres pleanty of autobots for you, Ultra-Magnus is mine". that would be cool. or was that quote from the planet of junk scene? i forget!

Staying on topic with a future movie on TF I was thinking it would be cool if there was a colony of Autobots found... say on Moonbase 1 or 2!

I know their planet was devastated/lost, but it would be awesome if a new colony was discovered with maybe Ultra Magnus leading... That's just me rambling!

That would probably be a good idea for down the line. Maybe movie 3 or 4

I have high hopes that this will be a successful franchise!!

AAAHHHH!!!! Not again!!! Read the following article...stating there's a possible strike after June 30th of this year with the Screen Actors Guild. This could seriously delay the filming and release of the 2nd transformers Movie!! Why can't hese people get over themselves and start thinking more about us fans!! I am soooooo tired of all these strikes!!!
