WST combiners

Post by Uncletrunx »

Does anyone have any experience of these? I'm tempted by Defensor (always had a soft spot for him) but I'm not sure of the quality. I'm pretty sure that he's a KO but then the WST Dinobots are KOs and they're great.

Any thoughts and experiences welcomed. Especially if they're known to break if you so much as look at them funny!

I bought a half-size Dev at Big Lots for $4 that is great. I even dropped him once. I think it's hit or miss. I don't think I've ever seen the Defensor.

For £5, I'll do it. You've convinced me.

I don't think they advertise them as 'WST', they're just smaller versions.

Heres the WST Devastator that I got some time ago:

Image

Looks to be smaller then the 1/2 size one Ramjet has. When compared to my Micromaster Devastator he comes up to the middle of the chest piece. As for the quality of this one, its a pretty good display piece but feels just as flimsy as the full size recent Green KO that was abundant on Evil-bay.

R.I.P, Menasor.

I can't believe I thought Cassettes were the way of the future.

Is +1 on Kups list.

Well, The mini Defensor has arrived, and there are a few things to note about him.

1st: He is fragile. Being that size and made up of individual transformable robot parts it was bound to be the case, but having had to make a repair to his head after the very first attempt at un-combining him, I can confirm that he will be a display piece only.

2nd: He only has one fireball cannon and no smaller robot weapons. Unsurprising but needs to be mentioned.

3rd: The robots all come with autobot fake rubsigns but red decepticon decals otherwise!

Those things aside, he's very cool, and will be standing on my desk at work, I think.

:D

Finally got some photos; not great quality because they're from the mobile 'phone but you can at least get some idea of mini Defensor from them.

I've put a normal sized Beachcomber in to give an idea of the size.

I'll try to get some better ones taken
