Guess I'll weigh in on this subject....I have all three of them. Prowl and Tankor (Octane) are pretty cool. Sunstreaker is ok but the worst of the three in my opinion. I agree with Des that hopefully Classic 2.0 will be better. I want the Onslaught figure as well. I am looking forward to the two Titanium figures Prowl and Grimlock!

These new Universe figs ARE the Classics 2.0. Hasbro decided to drop the Classics 2.0 from the name.

Prowls growing on me a bit. I'm gonna paint his missile launchers. The Galv and the Dirge look so cool, tho. I might have to get them, no matter how cheap and crappy they are constructed.

I've got to say, the materials used to make these are sooo shoddy, but I want them so bad, especially sunstreaker and whether they are poorly constructed or not I'm getting the classics version of onslaught coz its who I iz ! lol I don't see why they couldn't take the original molds from G1 and just add joints and a little extra detail to them, they are so much more sturdy and if they did I would buy them all. After all G1 is still my fave and it would be so close to the cartoon that way.

for some reason, even though i feel like my prowl is going to break easily, he's probably my favorite of the deluxe class
but the ultras that just came out (powerglide and onslaught) are quite good
i must add though, that there is a joint on powerglide that i can see wearing out very quickly
i transformed him once and saw some super cool plastic bending action with a side o' discoloration
rad :?

I bought sunstreaker and octane today, I have to say octanes fuel carrier mode sucks, the wings in plane mode look too small and bares hardly any resemblance to the G1 figure apart from it has the same three style modes. the melee weapon should just of been a shield like the original, thats how I use mine and I think it looks better. as for sunstreaker, he seems a lot better, more faithful to his original design, however some of the joints seem a little shoddy, especially the ones that attach the arms to the shoulders, they aren't even connected together, they just slide off ! shame I was looking forward to this line. But maybe better look with the others like onslaught...

Now that is just weird! How could the plastic break like that? It looks almost the same on both sides! :?

If I were you, Apocalypse, I'd take that toy back or call Hasbro's whine line and get me another one!

There's no sense in these toys breaking with the ease they do! I wonder if they're banking on people not taking them out of the boxes?

although i admire that they tried to make it lock, but they could have made the knob-thing (galvatron?) way too harsh on the other half.

what does a guy have to do for a simple ratchet joint or something around here?

but aside from that, him and onslaught are quite nice

My guess was it was a one-off hardcopy, not a production variant.

Any other UK members kinda annoyed that these figures are £13.99 for a DELUXE class. (While voyagers and ultras are £20 and £25 repectively.)

Also after a quality report on the Ultra class Onslaught.
