*Rumble shrugs as he looks at Dirge.*

"I thought you were supposed to be good with things like this? Guess we're gonna need some help to fix it, we better report back to Megatron."

*As he turns to walk from the device, Rumble gives it a good solid kick causing it to shake. The Hydrothermocline emits a couple of loud beeps and then begins humming, starting up energon production once more.*

"Heh heh, whadya know... Dirge you better radio Megatron, he's gonna wanna know its working."

Megatron, we should take care in our subversion of the dam that we do not attract attention to our activities. Shrapnel has as much tact as Cambreaker has cunning.

I've scanned and synthesized bombshell's and mindwipe's mind influencing techniques for large-scale production. The effects are temporary and will only work on the humans, but it will help us gain control of the dam in a discrete manner.

Deszaras looks up from his work on the explosive energon isotope at the transmission. He takes a small fragment of the crystal and places it into a gravity field container. best to show what my task here is He thinks walking out into the earths air.

Shrapnel and Mega arrive at Overlord base. Shrapnel looks to the other bot, "Where are the weapons you spoke of, of?"

Be cautious when you use these, Insecticon. You may yet share bombshell's penchant for the reckless behavior with his mind-controlling devices.

Mega gives Shrapnell several dozen mind controlling devices synthesized from bombshell's and mindwipe's arsenals, developed back at Overlord base.

Megatron seems indifferent to whether we use the devices or not. Therefore we will use these to control the humans and get THEM to control the dam FOR US. We will act with such subterfuge that they won't notice the energy being drained right out from their literal noses. Hurry, there are plent of empty energon cubes back at Overlord base. We've delayed for too long already.

We must also take care to watch for autobot activity. Warriors never let down their guard, not even for an instant.

Overlord, I have searched the perimeter for autobot activity. I haven't see any suspect behavior, but the humans appear to be in an agitated state. Our presence here may be detected if we are not careful

Understood Thunderwing. I will report this development to Megatron. If we are to be detected by the humans they may alert our presence to the autobots. Despite our superior numbers, strength, and combat prowess, I will not allow the autobots to interfere with Decepticon plans yet again. Return to Overlord base and arm yourself with the new synthesized mind control devices. You will find them useful in your continued espionage. Report to Megatron when you arrive as Mega and Giga must proceed to the dam with Shrapnel to secure the area.

Thunderwing heads off, and proceeds to return to Overlord base.

"Commander, the Hydro-thing is opperational again and is ready to start pumping energon back to cybertron. What's next?"

"Excellent, we will get Astrotrain to return us to Cybertron wher we shall repair the space bridge. Any energon can be transported over it, as well at the Hydrothermocline that Rumble has repaired. Deszaras, I will leave Overlord, Thunderwing and Shrapnel with you for now. Make good use of their talents."

*Rumble listens to his commander, the thought of total victory finally within their grasp is overshadowed by Rumble's immediate concern. On the Horizon appears the familiar shape of Astrotrain. Rumble turns and speaks to his leader.*

"Commander, before we part I have to say something...."

*There is a glint in Rumble's optics.*

"SHOTGUN!!"

*Megatron opens his mouth as if to say something then shakes his head and they watch Astrotrain land at the base.*

*With the dust of touchdown still lingering around the shuttle form of Astrotrain, Rumble hurries through the boarding hatch and takes his seat in the cockpit.*

*Rumble opens the glove box and takes out his pair of designer sunglasses, as he puts them on he makes sure he is looking sharp in the rear view mirror.*

"Lets get this show on the road!" He calls out of the side window looking back at the Decepticons still gathered on the landing pad.
