Lucky. The charity shops here (Starvation Army, Goodwill) BOTH stopped selling toys!?! I am ultra-pissed about that.

Looks we have have some lurkers! Did anyone else see the OP Cookie jar on evilBay that was listed the same day as Piranacon showed us his? The one that almost no one here has ever seen? Coincidence? Doubt it. We have the problem on another forum, someone will bring up an obscure line of toys or an accessory they need to complete a line, then it pops up on e Gay the next day for an exorbatant amount of money. The problem with that is, you can't really tell people what you're looking for, because some scumbag will try to bend you over for it. It kinda ruins the public sharing of information, because it's used against you.

I would consider the presence of OP cookie jars on Ebay to be coincidence there, guys. Those show up consistently on Ebay.

The eventual final price is VERY condition dependent. Near mint pieces attract both cookie jar AND TF collectors, and sell for over $100. Significantly chipped (or repaired, in the most recent $13.50 case of our fortunate resident!) go for MUCH less, because the looney cookie jar collectors don't go nuts. Still a good find at $13.50 though, assuming Mr. Jack doesn't skimp on the packaging.

I also have to question: IF said person DID list an OP cookie jar on Ebay after seeing it here, what about that makes them a scumbag? They let fair market determine its value... they didn't stick it on Ebay with a BIN of $100 or $150, or start spamming the boards. I guess I just don't get it? Would you expect them to say, "Oh, well, you're a collector, and yeah, I paid $30 for it in 1985, which is more like $50 today, but here, I'll sell it to you, Ramjet, for $15 because you've never seen it before!

I'm sensing an OT discussion developing... I'll keep my eyes peeled for a new thread

You almost got him right. Under his head is that grey chestplate thing. Behind the chestplate there are two blue/silver "tabs" that flip up.

Now you just need RiD Optimus Prime, lol!
