Classics!

Post by Time Traveller »

ok, so i bought a jetfire about an hour ago. two words: friggin amaxing.
the red backback, and forearms are detachable like they should be. his jet mode is great. and, to top it all, his face is sculpted like the cartoon and comic... but he comes with a mask to make him look like the original toy!
AAAAH!
i'd type more but i've got some transformering to do.

I guess I know where I'm going tomorrow...

I went to Target tonight, and found Mirage. I was pretty happy about that, he was even on sale! :D

Is that Shackwave's trigger, or is he just happy to see Mirage?

Did you have any luck Galvatron? I made Optimus take me all over town while the minicon was at Grandpa's house, and ended up finding Jetfire at Toys R Us. He just showed up, he wasn't there yesterday. They didn't have him in the computer yet either, so we had to stand in line for about 15 minutes so they could figure out how to ring him up.

I've been going to Toys R Us on almost a daily basis waiting for that damned Soundwave to come out. I was too stubborn to preorder it & pay the shipping, so I'm hoping like hell it will show up.

Arcee has 2 on order ofr the Commander and myself. She got an email saying there was a delay on them and they would ship as soon as they got the stock. so it could be a wait before the stores get them.

What he said. Though I'm meant to be getting another e-mail whenever they do ship out, so I can always keep you posted if you aren't finding anything.

I was at Toys R Us yesterday looking at the TF figures but they had total crap. I'm really not interested in an Optimus Prime that transforms into an ape. :x

lol, Beast wars Optimus Primal...so bad!!

I like the look of Mirage, he looks sweet. I wasn't sure about him, but that looks kick ass, I would love him and Jetfire. I'm gonna give Grimlock a miss, cos I don't like the redesign one bit. The next wave I'll pass on Cliffjumper as it's a direct repaint of BumbleBee. Ramjet looks sweet though!

yeah, yeah, "trukk not munkee", but have you actually watched the BW series? after doing so myself, i've become quite a big proponent of BW. the toys were pretty good too.
as for classics, the grimmy remold is pretty ok. they did a good job of making the dino mode look pretty vicious and a little less godzilla fakish. but to each their own. i'm looking forward to ramjet, too.

LOL!

How long is BW? I only have about 7 episodes of the G1 stuff left, I'm pretty sure I'll go into shock if I don't have something else to watch when I'm done with it.

That would be terrific! I like to 'hunt' but it gets pretty frustrating after a while. :D

You really don't like that BM stuff do you! Is it because it doesn't follow the continuity, or is it just no good?

the animation was ok, the episode stories sucked... but my main reason is, even for all the other non-contiguous stories..... it clamis cybertron is organic! which TOTALLY defeats the purpose of sentient ROBOTIC life.... rrrrrr....

No problem. I just hope I get something soon--I don't like waiting in limbo. :(

TT--I've never watched BW, but then again, Hot Rod had only just gotten me into Transformers when I signed up here. I haven't even had the opportunity to watch the regular G1 stuff, let alone BW, so I've still got a good bit to go through. *Sigh.*

Nothing yet.

I have been searching all over the place.
That might explain why I haven't been online in a few days.
I will not surrender.
I will continue to search.
