I wouldn't get too angry about being "had". G1 Grimlocks have more value than G2. Paradoxically, of course, it *is* significantly more difficult to find a G2 Grimlock. Usually, you have to find one that's being sold as a G1. (In which case it *still* usually ends up being cheaper than a G1, since most people are looking for a true G1, not a G2, and therefore don't bid or bid lower).

If he has the stiff, G2 style sword for some odd reason, be sure to keep it until a true G2 grimmie is found. Those are often difficult to find separately (though also tend to sell for the same or less than the G1 sword).

Or, if you're like me, you just pretend the grey G2 doesn't exist, and start hunting down the teal version to go with the dark blue and G1.

Sidenote: If you're looking for a grey G2 grimlock amongst the mass of G1 grimlocks being auctioned... look for the presence of the launcher and missiles. If you see launchers and missiles, it's usually a G1, since G2 didn't come with them.

who knows theres about 8 of them four grey ones two blue ones though one is a lighter blue than the other the pretender and the action master

It appears that I need to go and have a word with a guy who told me that it was G2 in G! colours ...........
