*Shockwave ends the transmission and begins pushing buttons on a console.*

Rattrap peers out from the maintenance shaft into the deserted corridor. He watches the sentry guns scan the hallway for movement and spots the entrance to the Primary Power Junction at the far end of the corridor. He transforms into rat mode and launches himself into the hallway. Moving as fast as he can down the hallway, he serpentines close to the ground as the auto-guns roar to life behind him. Rattrap catches a few blasts to the tail before he leaps into the air and transforms. He throws demo charges onto each of the two guns guarding the door before ducking and covering on the floor. The guns explode, creating a small zone next to the door not covered by the sentry guns. Rattrap gets up and winches due to the pain in his backside. He waves Blackjack to attempt a similar maneuver. Pulling a lockpick out of his sleeve, he goes to work on the door's lock. The heavy doors hiss open and the corridor is filled with the glow of Kaon's Primary Power Junction.

"Unit Beta, move to the primary power junction located within your sector. The several sentry guns in the area have been deactivated, suggesting the location of the Autobots. Find and destroy."

'Cons Have More Fun
The rat is good, no wonder he holds the position that he does. He said he was from the future, that must be where he learned those moves. Blackjack nods in approval and pulls himself out of the maintenance shaft. Rattrap destroyed the two guns nearest the power junction doors, but not the two that still scan the hallway. He starts off at a run towards the other end of the hall, the sentry guns pick him up and start to fire. At that moment, Blackjack's head detaches from his body and launches towards the gun emplacements. The smaller figure is able to land on one of the gun. The first moves to target the second and fires.
With only one gun left to avoid, Blackjack's headmaster partner reattaches to his friend's body and the easily move past the remaining sentry. In the distance, the rat is opening the doors. He gets out of range of last sentry in time to hear behind him.
Die Autobots.
He turns to see several of the generic, robotic drones that Shockwave employs standing a short distance behind him, having just come around a corner.

He draws his rifle as the drones begin to fire, switches to Autofire mode, and charges towards them while firing.

*As Blackjack charges at the drones firing, he easily dispatchs most of them. An Autobot of his experiance knows of the programming limitations that Drones have. Dispite this the Drones understand the priciple of cover, and with several of their ranks destroyed begin to backpedal around the corner. Blackjack continues to press on, destroying the last active sentry gun as he goes. Prepared to dispatch the remaing Drones he follows round the corner...*
"Gonna get ya Drones heh heh."
*He stops dead and looks up.*
"Uh-oh."
*In front of Blackjack stands one of the re-programmed Guardian robots, its freshley applied Decepticon insignia displayed prominatly on its chest plate.*

Rattrap goes to work in the primary power junction room. He pulls out his heaviest demo-charges from his sleeves and places them on the junction's single energy outlet. Rattrap scans the room quickly and locates the explosion dampeners. Extending his wrist blade, Rattrap cuts the dampeners' power supplies and sets the timer on the explosives. A voice in his head counts down the seconds until detonation as he run back down the corridor. Rattrap grabs Blackjack as he runs past and pulls him into the maintenance shaft, managing to lock the hatch as the countdown reaches one. A deafening explosion destroys the primary power junction and fills the corridor with searing flame. The hatch buckles inward from the force of the explosion, but manages to hold.
Over Comms: Dinobot, that's your signal, bring the heat.
Rattrap smiles widely at Blackjack.
That was fun, eh? We should go meet up with the lizards.

Destoroyahs craft cuts out its primary weapon as it gets within range. Making slight adjustments Destoroyah brings his ship alongside the autobot craft before opening up with a full broadside barrage.
"Warstorm, when there shields fail warp me onboard there ship, I want to finish this personally" Destoroyah shouts over the din of the ships weapon systems as the frontal prow plates move back into there normal position. "Overcast prepare the anti shield lance array. Fire when there shields are pushed to there maximum."
"AsYouCommandDestoroyah.IAmAlreadyMonitoringThereShieldsAndTheWeaponsArePrimed." Overcast rambles.

Darkshock flew over the 'moat' of Kaon where he could not be noticed by the group of autobots. He transforms and lands on his feet. After casually brushing himself off and cracking his fingers he starts walking towards the autobot group making no attempt to conceal himself. He holds his arms in such a way so that his hands are visible.

Rev, get behind the protection of the Maus. I'm goinh to disable the ECM Module and bring it on the 'Spite. The Maus would be ineffective against a ship of that size. But bring that ECM Module onboard the 'Spite, they might have a chance.

Cambreaker chuckles to himself as the Throttlebots open up with the port Concussion cannons, hammering away at the hunter's ship. The dorsal quads spew a constant stream of suppressing fire around the ship. He grabs the controls.
Kup, analyze targets.
Well lad, looks like Kaon just had a power fade. Shields are back up but probably not full power. Looks like they've rerouted the entire power grid.
What of those missiles and the EMP?
EMP was a bloody dud, or something. The first wave of missiles was largely intercepted.
Alright. Load and fire laser designator missiles, target their ship. Continue firing proton bombs, and prepare to pause and resume firing from the groundpounder cannons. Bumblebee, how are our sheilds?
They've taken some significant damage from their big gun...
And they're starting to do a major fade?
As you command, big bot!
Hold on tight. Time to roll over and die. Hahaha!
The Ætherspite begins to lurch and pitch over to the starboard side, hiding the ventral guns and eventually the port Concussion cannons from the bounty hunter's craft. Missiles surge forth at random from their tubes, as each reloads, providing a steady volume of fire streaking in from all sides of the enemy cruiser. A bomb falls away from the 'capsizing' battleship's emitter, just as its belly faces the enemy... revealing the ten mighty groundpounder cannons.
Bumblebee, switch over. Throttlebots, you know what to do.
Bumblebee switches on the second shield generator, bringing the shields back to full, and fades out the first, using the diverted NBEC energy to recharge it quickly. Chase reports from siege bay control.

Cambreaker switches to a gun cam view, watching all ten groundpounders fire in turn, recoiling as their deadly munitions converge toward the cruiser, the next volley of missiles streaking in and around them. Another proton bomb falls away to Kaon, and the starboard concussion cannons rain a few shots down to saturate fire.
We can play this game all day, fool bounty hunter. This ship's as old as it is for a reason, Cambreaker mutters to himself.

I was just surprised to see that they had a guardian in there. Well at least we got to have a little fun, but now the game is really gettin' interestin.
The travel down the maintenance shaft does not take nearly as long as climbing up. Both Autobot and Maximal soon find themself back at the original broken metal grating that led them inside the Decepticon fortress. Below the Dinobots are gathered around Grimlock and Megatron who are about to go toe to toe with each other. There was someone else, a Decepticon walking towards the group. He looked unarmed, but Blackjack couldn't help but wonder why he was 'sneaking' along.
Look at that guy down there. I didn't read nothin' about him. Whoeva he is, he's probably plannin' to bust up their party. Think we should do somethin' or should we let Megatron take it outta his hide when he interrupts his duel?

As the fire strikes his ship Destoroyah monitors his own shields. Hmm down to 45% after that last attack. he thinks to himself as the groundpounder guns are gbrought to bear on him.
As the weapons from the autobot craft start to fire Overcast fires the lance batteries. The semi sonic energy weapon fires its deadly beams at the spite. The sheer power of the weapons cutting through the shield and leaving molten marks in the spites hull.

*Pick up sword and points it at Grimlock.*
"Now your going to die!"

*The metal of the energo swords clang and spark as the two warriors go head-to-head once more. They seperate and trade sword swipes as both warriors battle for supremacy. Megatron smiles as he remembers a time gone by, fighting in front of the Autobot elders for the amusement of the crowd. Thinks to himself*
"Oh how times have changed"

Bumblebee looks pleadingly to Kup, who, with a solemn look, turns back and relays the fire orders. Bumblebee changes over the shields, diverting power to boost the fading second generator. Outside, the groundpounders let loose another volley onto the smaller craft, blasting it away from the Ætherspite, cracking its shields and cratering into the structural metals. Missiles streak in again from every direction, hand-targeted to all the weapons and engine arrays.
You're dismissed. Cambreaker grumbles as he switches off the displays of the remnant. Grabbing the control yoke, he rolls the 'Spite into a turn, circling to level the craft and put the mercenary ship in front of them.
Keep an eye on them, shred anything that moves.
