He was released, but on a ridiculously limited scale. He came out with Midnighter XR-4 and Twitcher F451.

According to Hasbro.com the second Real Gear Transformers wave was supposed to be released feb-march -08. I have no idea if they actually were released though, but I'm sure there's someone around here who knows for sure.

They WERE released. The release wasn't even really THAT limited... in the sense that it can be verified he made it into stores ALL the way across the U.S. (http://www.unicron.com/sightings/item_v ... viewall=on which is a GREAT site to check to see if anybody nearby you has something in stock, btw!)

I can also verify that he was sold by BBTS for a period of time, and possibly buy.com.

The problem seems to be that production on him was stopped fairly early, most likely due to the fact that longview (whom he was recolored from) sold TERRIBLY. (Evidenced by the fact that you can STILL buy longview, in EIGHT PACKS from Hasbro, LOL!)

Well, that's cause Longview was ugly yellow. What did they expect? Paint him cool blue, and he'd have sold like hotcakes! Well, if anyone sees him, I need him.

Hey Ramjet, I have a yellow version of this guy! I bought him at Toy-r-us right after the first movie came out!

I didn't like the yellow one, though. Even the paint scheme is off a bit on the blue one, his faction symbol needs to be purple.
