World's Smallest Transformers

Post by Delita-1 »

Does anyone have any of the World's Smallest Transformers? If so, are they worth it, or are they pretty cheap? I've been debating on buying some for a while. They look like they'd be the perfect size to put on my desk at work & play with when no one is looking. :D

They are quite tiny, so you could play with them at your desk. I am not sure of the $ tho. they would not be that dear I don't think.

I have seen 2 packs of dinobots on e-prey for sale. They came in at about £23 for the 2 bots (Grinlock and Snarl) but it was from Japan or Hong Kong so shipping would be high, plus I am wary of buy from sellers from those locals due to horror stories I have read/heard.

I wouldnt trust them either, to far away and it would cost more to send the stuff back than you paid for it.

my solution... micromasters! sure they're originals, but they're built like it. of course, i had NO guilt in bringing PRIMUS up to school with me and playing with him on my desk...

I don't have any, although I think they look pretty fun.

By the way, buying from Hong Kong and Japan is only up to the seller who you are dealing with. I have found rotten apples here, the USA, the UK... You can't let yourself to get scared just for a horror story.

However, you can start with little purchases to test the seller. Always when you buy in evilBay you are taking chances so you have to use the money you are ready to lose.

I've had 3 nightmares on ebay. The first time was for $200 for an anime cel from a guy in France. I paid by money order for that one, so I was pretty much screwed & never got anything. The second time was for $400 for another anime cel in the USA. That time I was smart enough to contact ebay within the 30 day limit, but only ended up getting $150 back from their insurance company, so that REALLY sucked. The last time was for $25 for a DVD set in Singapore I think. That time I paid with paypal, so I contacted them. They locked the guys paypal account & wouldn't release it until he either refunded my money or sent my DVD's. :D So I got my DVD's in the end. Ever since then I only buy stuff with paypal so I have a little bit of security.

that's quite a lot to put down on animation cells... that's why i only spend big bucks at matt's (the owner of the site) store.

I finally got some of these. They were sooo worth it.

It's pretty amazing how acurate they are for their size. I have to say the little Megatron is my favorite so far. Not just because he's my favorite character, but because of how complicated he is for being so small. They all transform, for the most part, just like the originals. At least that's what OP tells me, as I'm not allowed to touch his toys. They're a lot more durable than I expected too. I popped off a piece of Prowl by accident, I thought for sure I had broken him, but it popped right back on with no problems.

I'm due to get a soundwave & some others pretty soon, I can't wait to try them out.

That's true.

I saw some of the combiners on ebay. The knock offs, or whatever you want to call them. Does anyone know if they're decent? I think I saw the mini Devastator in your pictures Hot Rod. I'm guessing that's the same thing.

Prime hung a tiny shelf for me to put my tiny collection on. They're so damn cute. He set it up so his collection (part of it anyway) is right above mine. It looks like someone hit the shelf with a shrink ray.

I just hope the cats don't try to play with them...

My Devi is the energon version. So they are all quite small.

I refuse to get knock offs, plus I'm not gonna get every TF I remember (I'm not a completeist). I just wanna get some that I have found memories of or ones I never had as a kid and always wanted like the upcoming Soundwave, IF he ever gets released!

OH I see!

I don't much like buying knock offs either, but as far as I know, there aren't original versions of the combiners. :(

well for my birthday (an early present, I'm a few weeks early) I got myself the WST Convoy (Prime).
He comes with loads of stuff!
not only did you get Prime himself, you also got the trailer, Rollar, 6 extra hands in numerous poses, a display stand, a jet pack and his weapons.

PLUS!! cos it's a japanese one I got on e-bay, I got the free WST Hot Rod too!!! WOOHOO!

here's a few pics :)

I have Prime in that jumping pose that he always does when he transforms!

Just to show you how small they really are!

I love how HR is smaller that Roller!! lol
The Prime is basically a mini masterpiece Prime, he is amazing.
I had tried to take pics of HR for the sites archive, but I'm having trouble getting something so small to stay in focus when I zoom in with my digital camera :(
