Are they ever going to re-issue...

Are they ever going to re-issue...
I got to thinking, they're re-issuing or knocking off just about every G1 toy there ever was, while they're at it, why don't they just knock-off some of the really actually difficult items to find, like the mail-in watch Time Warrior?
Just a though...I wonder what's going thru the heads of the Chinese knock-off artists.
In case you can't tell, I'm being sarcastic...

I think encore should do with Trailbreaker what they did with Ironhide:
RELEASE HIM IN HIS DIACLONE COLORS!!!
Imagine, a blue trailbreaker for a reasonable price
I can only dream...

If'n you ask me, they should reissue that diaclone Triple-Changer; the blue helicopter/jet one? Yeah, there's one on ebay right now, just the bot, for $200!!! That's redonkulous.

I'm only ticked because it sold for exactly my reserve price. Meaning that if I'd set it higher, I likely would have gotten more. And I only cleared about $25 or so once I bought the G1 Trailbreaker to replace it. Oh well. It's not too big a deal, seeing as how I only paid ~$40 for it in the first place, since the original seller had no idea what he had. (He even used a Black Trailbreaker pic in the ad! LOL.) Whatever, live and learn. Next time I'll jack up the reserve and second-chance it if the top bid is decent.Wheezel wrote:But it was a decent song. You got essentially FMV for auction format, given the condition. (I'd considered bidding or trading with you, but decided that I didn't need another, since I'd be insane to apply my "one for every mode" rule to Diaclones)

Reserves are a terrible idea. In my experience, With a few exceptions, they only serve to:
1) Make Evil-Bay more money in fees
2) Keep bidders from bidding on your item.
You're better of just setting the opening bid at whatever price you'd feel comfortable selling it for.
And no, you probably wouldn't have gotten much more if you'd set the reserve price higher. People don't tend to stop bidding simply because the reserve has been met... instead, they often DO NOT bid because the reserve HAS NOT been met.

There's one of those on ebay with no accessories, just the bot, for $200...if you ask me, even though he is friggin awesome, he's not worth itHound wrote:You guys got me interested in this triple-changer, so I had to find a pic of him!
He looks spectacular! Is the main rotor detachable though? I suspect not, but it would be cool if he could wield it as a sword sort of like Springer.
He's one of my holy grails, though...
