Fantastic collection Dez,
sadly I miss all of the tapes, they're quite expensive in good shape, but I have to start hunting them down soon...

To know others you must know yourself first!

The bigger they are the bigger thud they make when they fall!!!

I finally snagged a big one on my list! A near mint GIG G1 Powered Convoy figure! :D There were two versions of Powered Convoy; grey, and chrome. Grey is presumed first release, and the chrome version the second one. I snagged the Grey version.

The one nice part about italian tfs is that there weren't a ton of changes in the toys themselves. There were slight changes in the weapons; ie many toys came with rubber 'bopper' missles instead of the standard ones, but otherwise, if you are looking for a good-quality diaclone toy, pick up the gig version over a japanese one. Italian diaclone and japanese-diaclone are functionally identical. The one major different between this version and the US Ultra Magnus, is the ability to swivel his arms around for different base modes and such.

Here's the pics:

Lance, now I'm really jealous!!!! What an awesome find!

As far as I know, the chrome version is the giftset's, which includes the red Mirage and black Sideswipe. The one you have is one of the Italian's, with blue cab, others have a red cab, like Optimus. Extraordinary find...

Here is my G1 collection...
Image
I call these guys the "ARK Riders" It's this group of Autobots that started it all back in 1984
Image
These season 2 guys just suddenly appeared from nowhere in the cartoon.
I think they were still in stasis pods when the Ark crashed
Image
Some of the main TF Movie (cartoon) main characters.
I tossed in Topspin and Twin-Twist because I had nowhere else to put them. Optimus Prime wasn't around for me to insert them anywhere else
Image
I probably could have made a better Metroplex using my mini cons legos.
Sky Lynx is lame but a must have for all collectors who want a complete G1. Jetfire is AWESOME!!

Image
My favorite combiner!!
Image
DINBOTS KICK BUTT!!
Image
what did these guys say they are MASTER of?
Image
Scourge looks so out of place in this pic
Image
I know that Unicron and Primus toys are not G1. But IMO, they should have been.
Image
Awesome combiner!! Very heavy and hard to pose as Predaking.
Image
Only HOT SHOT & the Defensor parts are original.
The 4 smaller bots are KO's from Big Lots.
Image
I always wished they made Motormaster the same scale as Optimus.
Image
These guys are really really smart
Image
These guys are really really stupid. I got this set from some dude on E-bay years ago before I knew what to look for. I believe this is a KO
The seller told me they were the ANI-Painted. But I see no Hasbro / Takara trademarkes anywhere. Thus making me believe this is a KO.
I can't remember how much I paid for it.
I hope it wasnt' much, these guys suck. Abominus is a cool figure.
But when seperated, they all suck. Transforming them is a waste of time.
Image
Triple Changers Triple Changers Triple Changers

Image
Silverbolt & Slingshot are the only originals. The Superion parts and the other 3 smaller planes are all KO's from Big Lots
Image
I had to put him back together again after the pic....
Image
my mini con loves playing with these guys.
Image
sometimes i hate the fact that i'm a completionist.
Image
I still need a complete RATBAT and Slugfest & Overkill weapons
Image
I remember i traded in a bunch of Go Bots for this set.
Image
I had to get a pic of my good side
Image
got any bug spray?
Image
I got this from Ramjet a while ago... Thanks RJ!
Image
Megs in pieces.
Image
I gotta say GREAT JOB to Hot Shot for making me the guns and missiles.
Image
electronics still work great and he has all of his parts.
Except he has a chunk of plastic broken off in the front of his waste.
Image
I got this guy CHEAP!!!!
Image
This is Wingspan.. I still need his clone Pounce.
Image
I threw this pic in to let us remember the good ol cartoon movie.

O.O Good lord, Galvatron! That's a lot o' geewuns you got thar!

I still need Sunstreaker, Wheeljack, Inferno, Grapple, and possibly another Skids (mine is incredibly loose  ) to complete my autobot cars. Of course, 'Streaker & 'Jack are debatably the most expensive autobot cars out there...

Maybe you'll have to replace your KOs though
Far over the Misty Mountains cold, To dungeons deep and caverns old. The pines were roaring on the height, The winds were moaning in the night, The fire was red, it flaming spread, The trees like torches blazed with light.
