We're headed up to Tagon Heights, where a team should be working on getting some war factories back online. They ought to give us some sustainability in our operations.

Swift doesn't say much

Swift, what's that pendant you were wearing around your neck? I've never seen that on you before.

"It was given to me by my former trainer Jazz. He gave it to me last time we trained up on Tagon years ago. I guess I kinda just keep it as a good luck charm now.."

* Minerva looks a little surprised to see Snarl *

" Me Grimlock not fixed yet Snarl, but me can see again, where all other Dinobots ? "

" ME SNARL NOT KNOW, ME CALL THEM * On communicator * YOU LEADER DINOBOT AND YOU SLUDGE COME, LEADER GRIMLOCK ALIVE "

* Snarl turns to Minerva *

* YOU MINERVA NEED HELP TO FIX LEADER GRIMLOCK ? "

Sideways transforms, and a beam extends from his radio antenna, picking up the mainframe. He leaves his fortress and heads for the first preset location that Cambreaker had provided. He arrives and begins to place the mainframe into location.

One down.

Sideways says to himself, his right hand transforming into a multipurpose tool. Sideways uses this tool to attach the mainframe to the required sources. He plugs into the mainframe and boots it up, checking the status of the hardware.

Dinobot recieves Snarl's comm. What was that Snarl? You wanna run that by me again? I think you said Grimlock is alive. Myself and Sludge are on our way to Iacon to pick you up for some energon recharging. I have to see this "Grimlock" for myself.

Sideways finishes up the work and transforms back to vehicle mode. He does a burnout and heads for his fortress. He arrives a short time later and heads for his chambers.

Dinobot, It's Sideways. I need a favor of you, come see me.

Cam is cut off by the sound of a stampede of dinobots and crusaders running after Blackjack, who's burning rubber back to Iacon. They look excited. Bar-hopping excited.

Oh good gaskets. Woah... Who's that new bot? Did you get a good look at her, Swift?

Completely focused on repairing Grimlock, Minerva doesn’t notice that Snarl enters the medbay. When Snarl speaks, Minerva turns toward the entrance in surprise.
Snarl! I haven’t seen you around for a while. Thank you for the offer, but I’m almost finished.
Minerva carefully fastens the final cords and begins to seal the protective plating around Grimlocks’ neck.
How do you feel, Grimlock?

As he speeds towards Iacon, Blackjack notes that slowing down might be difficult due to the number of other 'bots following him at high speed, particularly the large dinobot named Sludge. As he ponders this, he notices Cambreaker and Swift going the opposite direction, most likely to have a chat with Rattrap and Redline about the Tagon operation. Good, things are running smoothly. Now he only needs to hold up his end of things.

With the city in sight, he starts to put on his brakes, while sliding a bit to the right so that he won't be trampled by the stampede at his bumper. Then, just outside of Iacon he puts on a full stop, transforming in mid stop, flying through the air and landing well away from the group following him.

Sideways leaves his room and heads for his lab. On first inspection, the room is pitch dark, no lights are on and all the machines are off. Sideways turns on his headlights, illuminating the room as he heads for an access panel on the wall to the right.

Opening up the panel, a single keypad and a small touchscreen are visible. Sideways punches in a code and the touchscreen switches to what resembles a remote access screen.

He taps an icon on the screen which brings up the control panel for the power distribution server. The control panel indicates that power to the sector was disabled as a security measure and cannot be reactivated manually. Sideways closes the access panel, which shuts down the touchpad. He leaves the lab, securing the door as he leaves. He begins his walk towards the mainframe/server room.

* Minerva looks horrified. *

Sideways reaches the mainframe/server room and heads for the security mainframe. He inputs a series of commands, which is accepted by the system. He walks over to the power distribution circuit board and groans, noting a blown fuse.

No wonder there's no power... damn fuse is blown.

Sideways reaches in to disconnect the fuse, and when he does, power to the whole facility is cut.

Shit. Emergency generator #2 didn't kick on... I need to take a look at that.

Sideways turns on his headlights for light and notes that all the mainframes are still operational thanks to an additional generator built into the room. This generator powers critical equipment vital to keeping the fortress' security and power mainframes running during a power outage.

RAI, Why didn't Emergency Generator #2 kick on when we lost power?

< Not sure. The security mainframe indicates a possible malfunction in the relay node. I'll see if I can bypass the relay node and activate it manually... >

A few clicks later, the hum of the generator can be heard, and emergency lighting kicks in, illuminating the interior of the base.

Sideways walks to a panel on the wall and holds a button, and relays a message to anyone who is inside the fortress.

Sorry for the interruption of power, I think I have found the source and I'm working as quickly as possible to get the problem fixed.

He watches as Sludge crashes into a nearby small building, causing it to collapse. Dinobot and the others stop easily enough and Blackjack feels relieved that no one was injured by the big dinobot. Not wanting to hunt around Iacon for Snarl, he comes up with an idea.

We betta try and locate that big lug Snarl. I'll send her a comm.

Which he does.

Eh, Snarl. If you're gettin' this come and meet us in the main courtyard of Iacon. You can bring this leada of yours wit ya. We're gonna go and visit the 'cons at the bar and we need you to bring the Dinobot Juice.

Minerva watches as Grimlock gets up.
Both Grimlock and Snarl seemed to have become more and more impatient during the repairs, and now that they were finally finished, Minerva wasn’t surprised to hear their talk about smashing Decepticons. She just hoped they wouldn’t get too excited about it and wreck the medbay on their way out...
She was glad to see that Grimlock seemed to be pleased with the result of the repairs, and replies with a smile;
You’re welcome Grimlock! She pauses for a second and then continues:
If you’re planning on smashing Decepticons, perhaps you two should check in with the others first?

* Grimlock thanks Minerva again, then she and Snarl transform and go to the courtyard. On arrival, they see the group waiting for them and they both transform back to robot mode. Grimlock sees Dinobot and goes to him and picks him up. *

" Me Grimlock not see you before, who you ? "

* Meanwhile Snarl has pulled Sludge from the collapsed building and she turns to Blackjack *

" ME SNARL SAY YOU BLACKJACK TAKE US TO BAR, ME MAKE DINOBOT JUICE FOR LEADER GRIMLOCK. "

Hello Grimlock. I am Dinobot, current leader of the Dino forces here while you were absent. The last time I saw you, Megatron was cutting off your head. Glad to see you're better. Dinobot lets aout a little chuckle, and is still perplexed on how Grimlock survived it. Im looking forward to getting to know you and let you know how the team has been while under my care. You are their true leader, so you can take the reigns of them if you wish. I will be a part of this formidable force still. Dinobot looks to the other two dinos standing there and shouts Who can take out the Dino squad? All the Dinobots at the same time shout NO ONE!

Blackjack chuckles at the eagerness of the dinobots. He glances around and notices that the Crusaders also seem eager to get moving. However there is something that has been weighing on his mind, these young 'bots most likely do not know the rules of the Energon Bar here on Cybertron. It was something he'd heard passed down through generations of 'bots, although he himself had only been there a few times. The construction of the Bar had only been a little before he'd left. He had never met the mysterious Time Traveller who along with Megatron had first built and co-operated the Bar. In any case it was time to let them know.

Before we go and visit the 'cons, I want you all to be aware that we're not goin' there to fight with 'em. We're goin' there to drink with 'em. I know that might sound a little silly, but this Energon Bar that they're at right now is a neutral zone, the only one on Cybatron. And anyone who breaks that rule will have to answer to me.

He glances around, knowing full well that many of the assembled 'bots are seasoned warriors with most likely more combat skill than himself, and less cunning.

Sounds fine to me. Im up for it. I seem to remember a poster or advertisement before we left cybertron that had to do with it. Most likely the 'cons are already there tripping over themselves. Several of the Crusaders laugh at the posssibility of drunk cons with Dinobot.
