ROTF Wal-Mart Super Tuner Throwdown (Blowpipe vs Sideways)

Post by trance »

In this Wal-Mart exclusive, I assume Blowpipe is a unique repaint, but is Sideways a total re-issue, or is he repainted in some way? Can't seem to confirm this on the webz...

I'm pretty sure he's a straight repackaging. I haven't been able to tell any difference.

Admittedly, I don't own either ROTF Sideways, but...

Doesn't this Wallie Exclusive have a spinning saw blade?

And the previous Sideways DOES NOT have a spinning saw blade, correct?

That Mech Alive feature may be the lone difference, but that qualifies it as something inbetween. It's NOT a recolor, but it IS a remold... definitely not straight repackaging.

The car body of the Wal-Mart version of Sideways is a slightly different shade of silver-grey. It's just a bit darker than the original release.

Sharpnel & others...

OK I've heard there were 2 variants of the regular deluxe issue of Sideways...a light one and a dark one, and supposedly this 2-pack contains the darker variant. This is getting rather confusing :)

I was at wal-mart yesterday and came across a NEST Series of figures. Ones that of course wern't in the movies but came with the ROTF on it. Does anybody know why they came up with the extra's? Is it just a sales thing?
It's hard to soar with the eagles when your surronded by turkey's!!
