Here's a few ideas I've had for some possible customs. If anybody has already made these or can link to someone else's images on the web, please do.

Animated:

Ultra Magnus in G1 colors (I recently saw a powered convoy version)


Classics/Universe:
Prime/Magnus/Nemesis as Powered Convoy cab (perfect for a DIA Commander armor set)

Dinobot: BW Grimlock
Overkill: G2 Grimlock
Silverstreak: Bluestreak


Any other ideas are also welcome.

I did a silverstreak/bluestreak in the g1 anime colors, not the toy catalog one with the blue sides. Here's a couple of pics

That is looking good. I like the original paint scheme from the catalogs. Its too bad they never made it.

I've almost finished my Bluestreak (for pics, see my customs thread). I've got a few more ideas to add to the list:

Silverstreak as US version (all silver,no black hood/canopy)
Sunstreaker & Sideswipe are great base figures, and with some head swaps and paint they can become:
Tigertrack (Orange)
Deep Cover (Black, Blue, or Italian Polizeii Blue & White)
Clamp Down (White)

I picked the colors mentioned after doing a Google search on the Lamborghini Gallardo (primary inspiration for Sstreaker & Sswipe's alt mode). Deep Cover & Clamp Down could probably use some extra stickers to complete their look.

The AutoBros could also be used as a base for the Stunticon Breakdown.

I like that idea so much I'm gonna try it.

I was already converting a sunstreaker to tigertrack; bought a Henkei Sideswipe (less than the Universe swipes on ebay, even with shipping) to convert to Diaclone version. But I'm not just swapping heads, tigertrack's going to use all sideswipe's white bits and the Diaclone will keep sunstreaker's gray bits.

I bet he'd look awesome next to a Fansproject DIA Commander. Too bad I don't have one .
