Anyone know what the numbers mean on the Dirge Fists?

I noticed some numbers on the fists, does anyone have an idea of what they mean? I thought they were interchangeable between Dirge, Thundercracker, Ramjet, and Thrust. Is it possible certain numbers go to certain transformers?

I have found random numbers on many TF parts (Perceptor toes, seeker jet fists, etc.). My belief is that they have to do with tooling at the factory. It would be possible that they would correlate into a full set (i.e. a complete Transformer), to keep limbs coherent in a working bench, but I'm only guessing on this.
