Just recieved my Xouergen Grand Patriot Supreme Tactical Commander Prime figure. He is a huge figure and comes in a very nice, solid detailed box. Overall it is a pretty good figure except for the scarey plastic joint parts. Watched a good review of how to transform him at the waist. Just simply rotate the upper waist section to the left or right before pulling down the section into place in robot mode.
The figure sort of reminds me of a mini "Powermaster Prime/Fortress Maximus" look. He has shoulder cannons like Powermaster Prime and leg cannons like Fortress Max. He taller than Classic Prime and G1 Prime too. His trailer can be put into various battle modes with guns and rockets. The two silver gas tanks on trailer can detach and attach to his forearms and have mini arm cannons.
The only real drawbacks to this figure is the trailer and the flimsy platforms the rockets sit on. It does not support the weight well. This figure's fagile white plastic makes one alittle afraid it will break in transforming it. I also painted the white smokestack metallic silver to more closely match the other silver parts. I love collecting everything Prime, so I had to get this figure. To me it is well worth it. I bought it from another fellow collector who only wanted the green version and I only wanted the red version.

Very cool version of 0ptimus! I just splurged and purchased the Fansproject Bruticus Crossfire A and B upgrade sets yesterday as an early birthday present to myself. Paid for three day shipping, so I should have the new Bruticus ready for pics by Wednesday. Im also waiting on the new legends Megatron, Optimus, and Starscream along with the new Generations Thundercracker to show up by Tuesday. Pics coming soon

Thanks! Yeah, I have 14 packages on the way now....lmao....no worries only four of them are action figure related. The rest are "gifts" for my son who has a birthday coming up soon (12).Minerva wrote:Wow, great purchases everyone!

Thanks bud. I wavered in my decision making process over getting this reissue or an original. Price always plays a key part but I also had to factor in: a)the lifespan of the mechanical operation b)neck joint stiffness with the top-heavy head considering I plan on displaying him in "Sky Lynx" mode c)the white plastic is "bone" white...essential for a Sky Lynx toy considering his prehistoric nature. All in all I'm quite pleased. Stickers have been applied. Toy has been played with. And he's now sitting perched high atop a shelf overlooking a random meal that might scurry through the collection room...whichever unfortunate chihuahua that might be.

To know others you must know yourself first!

My haul for today: TRNS-01 Valkyrie (Arcee) and TRNS-02 Medic (Paradron)

For size comparison: (and yes I know I forgot to rotate Hot Rods spoiler)

Pros: Nice box art. Sleek G1 accurate styling. Great paint application. High heels + bucket seats. Fully rotatable shoulder and hip joints. Minimal kibble underneath. Rolls perfectly. Probably the best surprise of all....no weapon storage as her pistols remain in her fists as her arms are folded underneath the car.
Cons: Delicate. No die-cast parts. (If you're wanting one with die-cast parts then I suggest pre-ordering the MGT-01 due out later this month. I rarely ever transform mine as she'll be strictly a display piece so durability shouldn't be an issue.) No stickers. (This fig really doesn't need any though as the paint apps are excellent. However I do plan on ordering a set of Autobot decals as well as some heat rub signs from Reprolabels.com just to add the finishing touch on her.)

Great catches Roadbuster!
I've been thinking long and hard about the Arcee in iGear's store. I am tempted to preorder her. But, I am on the fence. I heard that Hasbro was coming out w/ a Generations Arcee later this year, but then I heard it wasn't so. I don't know whats happening with that figure now (and besides, I don't know if it would be reimagined in G1 styling). I want to just go ahead and do the iGear one.. Oh, my brain is confused.
But, now back to your new catches - She looks great. Thanks for the size comparison. I definitely need to add a G1esqe Arcee to my collection!

I recently had C.H.U.G. Kup, Scourge, Perceptor, & Thunderwing delivered. They are great and I am glad to have them in my collection. I have a few more on order at BBTS but I am waiting for them to ship into my pile of loot first. Will have pictures up a little later!

I couldn't wait for prices to skyrocket on these (TRNS-01) while awaiting the possibility of a Generations Arcee release. I got these two for less than the pre-order prices were originally and still sealed to boot.
My haul for today: G1 Cyclonus (rare blue ears version) 100% complete!

My G1 Season 3 core line-up is near complete! Awaiting Kups arrival any day now...
