Derek, that is a hell of a find for $23. I am insanely jealous. One of my goals in the next year is to get a Omega Supreme even if its a reissue. But, with Max on his way soon. It'll be months till Omega Supreme is an option! Again, great find!!

@ Roadbuster - Those third party-ers look really great! Are they of good quality?

I've transformed "not" Breakdown twice and haven't had any issues. Though with any production run (including Hasbro/Takara) there's always flawed components which sometimes lead to a less than desirable figure. Look at some of the recent Takara Masterpiece figures for example. Out of the 3rd party figures, the only one I've had to operate on so far was Heavy Labor (not-Long Haul) from TFC's Hercules (Devastator) lineup. He had an internal hip gear that was stripping itself out, but TFC sent out replacement parts and it was an easy swap after removing 6 screws.

Their size classes are shrinking too. Voyagers are yesteryears Deluxes and Deluxes are now Scouts. But yeah, their plastic is getting thinner and the factory they use is probably using more "filler" too. Some of these 3rd party figures plastic quality and overall engineering have really been putting Hsabro to shame here lately.

Well, my 2nd figure from the FansProject Intimidator (Menasor) line arrived today. CA-10: T-Bone (not-Wildrider). Loving these figures! Transformation is ingenius! Converted both him and Car Crash (not-Breakdown) a few times and it looks like I have absolutely no QC issues from either, so that's great. Would have taken more pictures, but my camera died, so that just means I need to review each of these separately this weekend. Anyways, here's some in box shots.....as that's all I have for now.

Yeah I was wrapped. I won it on an ebay auction. The seller didn't know what they had. It was a bad listing really. No risk on the actual seller they where reputable and 1000's of feedback. The pictures where very messy but my keen eye spotted him. I was lucky that it appeared no one else did.

This was the main picture on the listing.


It was the only picture they had.
But once I scrolled to the bottom of all their terms they had plenty more picture and close ups.
There was also hiding in there this picture.


From these pics I could tell he was at least 90% complete and the parts looked in good condition. But had to gamble on whether he worked but it wasn't important.
He didn't but I was able to fix him without to much difficulty and a little help from TFL member Jose.
I've always wanted one but didn't really want to pay the price he normally commands so he wasn't really on my list of stuff to get. But he's a great addition to my collection. Maybe one day I can pick up a fort max the same way.

I also was familiar with the mask items and won several other auctions from this seller with mixed assorted parts to match up.
I got stung a bit on shipping cause I'm in Australia and these items came from the US. The shipping was actually more than the purchases cost. But still good value.

Bellow I've added a pic of some stuff I picked up this weekend.
I know you can't really see much of it but I'm just showing the quantity really. Most of this stuff would range from late 90's to current times so it's a little away from what I normally try to acquire.
To give you a vague idea though it includes all sorts of items from Books, Plush toys, remote controls, action figures, play sets and board games. I paid $50 for the lot.

I currently don't technically work for a living like most people.
I try to resell this stuff at a profit. I'm only just starting out but hope to make a carrier out of doing this and be able to class my self as semi retired at 34 years old. Working from home playing with toys. Enjoying my hobbies and free time but also being able to get by in the real world so to speak. And build on my own collection needs.
I'm not looking to be a jerk and rip people off for the highest possible price. I'm a fan and collector of many things. As long as it's worth my time and investment I'm happy. I only sell for what people want to pay. Or is fair for all. Ebay is a nice battle field and I'm often quite surprised at what people will pay for things. If I need a good price for something I will sell it there. But overall I'm happy to give genuine collectors a good fair deal or trade where I can.

Sorry if I've gone off topic and this is by no means a for sale post that is posted else where. I'm only sharing my scores and the story that goes behind it. If it's a problem I will edit the post accordingly.

I also give many thanks to the guys who have been helping me out here at TFL with identifying the rest of the stuff I'm not so familiar with.

And I hope to get to know and have dealings with many TFL community members in the future.

Bought some new stuff today that I had no idea existed. I purchased two armor sets to convert wreck-gar and scrapheap into different junkions, and preordered two of the new sharkticon figures that are coming out via impossible toys. once they arrive i'll post pics.

Congrats! Fort Max is awesome! I still remember when Dirge shipped mine over here from the UK in a box the size of a coffin. The lady at the PO just looked at me crazy when I told her it was a Transformers toy....lmao!

As for me...I've picked up these Tamashii Stage Act 5 clear display stands! Got a set of 3 for only $19.99 (free shipping), so the price was justified as I've blown $20 on worse. Anyways, these will come in handy when I go to photograph or review figures with flight modes....or just look to pose a Decepticon "hovering" in robot mode to make him look more in scale to his counterparts.

How do those stands work? Can you put an old seeker, for example?

It comes in pieces that peg together, but can disassembled and stored away later when not in use...The joints are strong/solid enough to support heavy die cast figures (such as G1 Seekers), but I got them mostly to show off my Classics/Generations/3rd party figures with aerial modes as they're mostly made of plastic and a lot lighter....

These stands come with 2 different styles of clips too, something I didn't realize until I opened them up. Here's a (blurry) shot of the back of the box and of one of them holding G1 Ramjet in jet mode.

I bought some Kotobukiya Mechanical Chain Bases.....or Machine Nests: #1-#6 (x2), so 12 sets total. Once assembled (and with paint apps similar to the bottom picture) it will look like this and be a perfect base for either my CHUG/3rd party Autobots or Decepticons. It will also be a nice backdrop to take pictures when I get new Transformers in...
Shipping from China so it'll be 2-3 weeks before it arrives, but will update with plenty of pics once it does. In the meantime, I'll be shopping for some hazard stripe decals to apply within the base. I already have an airbrush gun and some yellow paint...can't wait!

I bought some of those bases when they still sold them on amazon. I don't have an airbrush though so mine are still plain gray.

Tempting. But for now, I'm leaving everything hanger grey (neutral), I plan on replicating the paint job done on the rail cars as seen in the 2nd pic., along with adding some hazard stripe stickers. By leaving it hanger grey, it'll be interchangeable for both factions, so I think that's the way I'm going to go for now.

Have you looked for hazard/caution stripe tape? Or stickers? Seems like something they would make for models. Maybe check a model train store.

I know when I was a kid we had tape like that. A whole bunch of different patterns. I used to use it to make roads and things with construction paper for my toys.

Edit: Yeah, they make if for models. You probably need to see it in person to judge scale. But there are listings for it on ebay.

Yeah, I just snagged this off Ebay for $1!!! 12"x12" card and stickers are 3/8" wide. Last one that seller had and perfect for what I needed too.

I finally got him today, Fort Max has arrived and I couldnt be more happy. He is one big, bad ass Transformer. I cant wait to start putting his stickers on tomorrow. Here is pic of him fresh out the box.
