Future Transformers Series You Want Hasbro to Make
I desperately want Hasbro to green light a CGI version of a "War for Cybertron" series, with NO humans, only robots like they did on CGI Beast Machines series. Very similar to the video game. Do any of you think it will EVER come to past? I am so tired of always having humans being in every series. My verdict on the latest series "Robots in Disguise" is still in limbo. What are your thoughts on a Transformers future series?

I really have trouble digesting ANY TF show othe than the good 'ol classic G1 I grew up with. I hated Beast Wars (didn't like that CGI at all), Beast Hunters Prime (correct me if I'm wrong) is a big yuck, Prime is so so but still don't like it, and RID is terrible in my book. Maybe I'm just a stuffy old head who can't get hip to the new trend.
I would donate my left nut to science(I'm married and have all the kids I need, I'm not gonna need it anymore) just to see an updated version of the '86 movie with all the deleted scenes.

I get ya, but i love beast wars and beast machines. I'd rather see a transformers show without someone named prime.

I would love to see the Combiner Wars toy line done in a show. Having it done with a "retro" style G1 toon flare would be sweet. Not that anime looking bullshit like RID, can't stand anime.... BLAH.

I know there have been some transformers shattered glass figures, but I would love to see a Transformers: Shattered Glass tv series. Seeing Megatron and his followers are the good guys while Optimus and his fellow Autobots are the evil ones.

This sounds kind of interesting, but the story would have to be good to carry something like this.SentinelPrime wrote:I know there have been some transformers shattered glass figures, but I would love to see a Transformers: Shattered Glass tv series. Re: Future Transformers Series You Want Hasbro to Make
They can do it live action, CGI, straight out animated, a theatre release or straight to DVD Blu-Ray. (like Warner does with a lot of their superhero movies)
I would like to see the limited series G.I. Joe Vs. Transformers, and the only reason why is just so I can see, before I die, The Baroness walking Ravage like a Chihuahua up Park Avenue on a leash.
How epic is that?

Re: Future Transformers Series You Want Hasbro to Make
For Me I always wanted A TV series that fill in the gaps from G1 - Beast Machines story. And What happen after G1 Rebirth Part 3 what happen to G1 Galvatron ,Optimus Prime and the others. How The Maximals and the Predacons 1st came online , How did Megatron taken control of Cybertron in the 1st place where did the virus came from and who made it and other questions. and what happen after Beast Machines
Is Earth still in contact with Cybertron , any Transformers still on Earth. What's the Earth is like in their time ?

Meister, that's a laudable goal, but I think you'd be dissatisfied with some of the answers to plot holes like Megatron taking over Cybertron because apparently not one single Maximal knows how to tie a knot...
I'd love to see a well-written Shattered Glass TV show. I'd also be in for a series set at the height of the war on Cybertron, or perhaps even in the golden age before the war broke out, something a little more heady and character-driven. No, I'm not talking about the War for Cybertron Netflix series. Don't get me started on that dumpster fire of a script.

Re: Future Transformers Series You Want Hasbro to Make
Completely implausible and non-canon to G-1 lore.
Sort of.
Millions of years in Earth's pre-history, the Ark crashes into Earth containing Optimus Prime and most the important artifact of the Autobot race, the Matrix of Leadership.
The remaining Autobots on Cybertron struggle to survive without their leader and the culminated knowledge of all the Autobots' experience and history built upon by each ascending Prime, barely able to hold their own with dwindling numbers.
As the Decepticons begin to prove the victor in the conflict, a small contingent of Autobots are tasked with the location of Optimus Prime, and if he is no longer functional, the recovery of the Matrix of Leadership as it is their only hope for survival.
The Autobot searchers scour the Universe looking for any trace of Prime and the Ark, but it isn't until the humans of Earth create radio, therefore radio waves/signals/communication that can be detected, intelligent life, that the presence of Earth is made aware to them so they can investigate.
Unbeknownst to the Autobots, Shockwave, steward of Cybertron in Megatron's stead, learns of the Autobots' mission and sends his own contingent of seekers to follow the Autobots clandestinely as they seek Optimus Prime, therefore the Matrix of Leadership. After searching galaxy after galaxy with no results, the Autobots discover the Decepticons tracking them, and then it becomes a race to find the Matrix. If the Decepticons get that, the Autobots are finished, and a cruel twist, done with their own collected history and combined strength.
After contriving some way to delay and or throw off the Decepticons, the Autobots rush to the new planet they detect following the radio transmissions they receive (something from World War II?) and arrive on Earth just in time for the late 1950's early 1960's, and of course, have to assimilate their forms to disguise their presence on Earth as they stay just ahead of the Decepticon seekers while searching for the Ark and Optimus Prime-hopefully intact with the Matrix of Leadership.
Every series needs a "Spike" so.........
Along the way, they make human contacts with gearhead teenagers that are involved in the local car culture and street racing to act as guides as they search the planet- unsure if the Ark and Optimus were ever on it to begin with. the Decepticons finding them and circumventing their efforts while searching themselves.
Transformers Classic
This thing writes itself. I bet Netflix would pick it up, they'll produce anything. You could pitch a show to them called "Machine Gun Kittens", and it could literally just be kittens filmed playing with each other around (empty) machine guns and they'd pick it up.
Anyhoo....
I don't know why Hasbro hasn't latched onto the idea of making classic cars into Transformers. I would love to have a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Transformer, a 1957 0r 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Transformer (the mid-year Corvette that was, but was not a Sting Ray), a '6'7/ '68 Camaro, '68 Dodge Charger/Challenger Transformer, a 1938 Ford hot rod with flames, a Pontiac GTO, the makes and models are endless. I know we got a second generation Camaro in Bumblebee, but that isn't enough. Hasbro could even bring in the Matchbox and Hot Wheels collectors in with those, because Hot Wheels successfully tapped into the ThunderCats and Masters of the Universe collectors market with their cars. They even released a second release they were so popular.

Re: Future Transformers Series You Want Hasbro to Make
I like it! I think since the WWII-era GI Joe/TF crossover, I've always liked thinking about Autobot car modes selected from different decades. The connection to 1960s street racer culture would make it more fun, I feel like they've never done enough with having the humans in the series be serious car people, and that being what allows them to forge a connection to the Autobots.

I think that I echo Sentinel's suggestion. An animated series in the Aligned universe that finishes the story from WFC and FoC.
OR... a series that is a prequel to Transformers Prime, based upon WFC/FOC. Explain what happened and brought them to earth, what happened to the Ark and the rest of the Autobot crew?

Re: Future Transformers Series You Want Hasbro to Make
I think I'm in the mood for more "new" series. TF1 was kind of a breakthrough for me. It draws on so much previous Transformers lore (including the aforementioned "Aligned" continuity), but it carves its own path with a unique art style and twist on the story. It was delightful, and I'm sad we likely won't see the sequels that were intended.
Given that we're decades deep in G1 universe and even Bay universe stuff at this point, it would be refreshing to have a totally new concept, like we used to get almost yearly in the early 00's.
I had some hopes for Reactivate (especially since the toys were FANTASTIC), but that's now just another new idea killed in the cradle.

Re: Future Transformers Series You Want Hasbro to Make
TF1 was such a great movie. It is sad it was marketed so poorly. It was really gritty in places, with such great action, and world building. A great reset, I really thought after seeing it Transformers would get a nice shot in the arm. Though They really dropped the ball I feel like with how they marketed it with the trailers, and the tie in movie toys were.. IMO pretty crappy. Studio series are better, but to be honest I think Ill go with the Blokee Model kits for the TF1 figures.
On to the actual topic of the post. I would love to see them think outside the box. Like you said they used to all the time. Every year or two we would get a new flavor. I think these days they are afraid to do it. Its such a strong brand, I feel like it would survive new concepts well. The TF multiverse is already so vast.
