new transformers animated cartoon

I finally got round to watching 'Transform and roll out' as well as the first episode of the new animated toon courtesy of you-tube. Although the animation style made me a bit weary, I decided to give it a chance and see what the show was actually like... and I am very glad I did! I found it very enjoyable to watch (once I got used to the voice acting) and I liked the way that it seems to have more of a dark undertone when compared to the more recent TFs cartoons. One of my favourite parts of the pilot episode was when Megatron walks onto the Decepticons ships bridge, and all the other Deceps shut up out of fear. No comedy relief Megatron here. The characters are all unique personality wise and have the potential for serious development, I just hope as the series continues it isn't 'Dumbed down' at all.

It’s not quite the G1 toon that I know and love, but I am awaiting the next episode eagerly. I urge you to give it a try if you haven't already.

nuff said!!
this is as close to a G1 ep as you can want from a new generation toon!

I will say no more as to avoid spoilers.

the link I post previously has the new ep for those not in the US (or the ones who missed it).

Me Grimlock LIIIKE.

I can't tell you how exciting it is to actually NOT know everything that is going to happen in these episodes, and have something too look forward to every weekend.

I feel like a wee lad again... and sound like Kup.

Anyone else catch this reference:
*Bulkhead slams into Slag, sending him sprawling* "Oops, 'scuse me!"
*Slag steps on Quintesson judge, making him sprawl and squirm* "Oops. 'scuse me!"

well hey I think we all need to admit that if it grows a bit on us , the toon isn't that bad at all,

Anyone else think the episode about the Dinobots where Grimlock talks, Grimlock sounds an awful like Tankor from Beast Machines?

I was surprised how close the voice was to the original Grimlock from the G1 cartoon. At first I thought it was the same guy, but it is actually the same VA as Optimus Prime that does Grimlock.

Also of note, a female VA is listed as Slag but he never talked in the ep. deleted voice over perhaps? maybe she just did the snarls etc?

Watched the new TF a few days ago, and although I'm not very fond of the animation style, I find it better than expected and I'm actually looking forward to the next episode

remember that ep they skipped over? I mentione dit previously, well it seems it tread very close to the ongoing situation with Steriods and thats why it has been put on hold.

here's the scoop tho, thanks to numerous TF sites such as seibertron.com for this info

any US posters with cable with on demand services can go into the on demand section, pick cartoon network and find the missing ep called Meltdown.

for us non-US posters we can view it via the wonders of Youtube.
word on the boards is the ep is the worst so far, it's meant to be pretty bad.
find part 1 here and you can get parts 2 & 3 from the same page.
