Inside his workshop, Sideways heals and prepares a new alternate form for a new mission, a dangerous mission he must partake alone.

<Energy Signature detected... Target located. >

Sideways steps out from the chamber, his alternate form that of his modified F-14/F-15 mode and makes his way to one of the hangars. Before he leaves, he sends Cambreaker a private comms.

Cambreaker, It's Sideways. I've picked up an energy signature that could be of much use to us. I'm going ahead to scout out the area, follow if you wish.

With that, Sideways transforms and blasts out of the hangar and heads towards the signature.

Nah, don't worry about it. I trust the ladies well enough. First let me tell you that I think you've got a pretty bold plan there. But, I just don't think that I want to be a part of it. I'm just not feelin' like much of a team playa lately.

He pauses, trying to think of the best way to say it. He starts again, slowly.

I...I keep thinkin' back to the old days, to the Great War. I...eh...I just can't forget about what happened to Roulette. I don't know why. It hasn't bothered me for a long time, but comin' back here and fightin' against the 'cons again. I just keep thinkin' maybe I'll run into him, maybe I'll meet that dirty slagpile again, so I can end this. Ya know, that's why I left in the first place. I just keep thinkin' that I might put someone in danger. This whole group, they remind me of the good old days. It's not like I plan on leavin' again. I want to see this thing through. I just can't guarantee any of you that I won't go doin' something that'll get someone killed.

With the last words he looks at Cambreaker directly, as if to say "even you aren't Optimus Prime".

good question use to be espinoge but now i dont know with all that has happened and the fact noone seen kup around......with that GB stares off into space

Cambreaker reaches with his good hand to take Jack by the wrist and pull him closer.
I know you still have that on your mind about Roulette. It's not you though. It's not because you were there. If someone wanted YOU dead, they'd have taken their first shot at you, not her. The point is the Decepticon threat still looms, a bigger shadow than ever, over our entire home planet. Right now, this plan's one of the best bets we've got against them. Besides, you know that everyone will be safer this way. We're all more likely to survive if you join us.
Cambreaker pauses, getting ready to bring his discussion to a point. As if to accentuate the moment, Minerva reaches in Cambreaker's chest, lifts out his fuel pump slowly, and carefully cleans and adjusts a valve that had seized during the battle.
I need someone I can trust, Blackjack.

Blackjack pulls away, hesitant. He considers this for a moment. He thinks about all of these new generation Autobots. Prime was dead, both of them as far as he was concerned. The Autobots needed someone to look up to. Cambreaker was doing everything that he could. And this plan could give them the hope they needed more than anything.

He smiled, although he was still trying to figure all the angles of the plan in his head, he thought that maybe it would be fun.

CJ gets to his quarters and opens the door. A single crate in the middle of the room and a bed is all there is.

Having had plenty of time to think about Cambreakers plan, Minerva has not only decided that she's in too, but also worked out a few ideas on how to proceed from here on. She feels confident that this plan will work. It has to!

Concentrating fully on making Cambreakers fuel pump work flawlessly she adjusts the valve and checks every connecting fuel line before carefully putting it back. Finally having access to the right tools and spare parts not only makes her work easier, but also faster.

hummm ohhh those guys are my team I will introduce them when they wake up and yeah Kup is the Chief of sorts when it comes to security. Havent seen him around lately tho. You want a drink or something? GB gets up and goes to the bar to get another bottle of energon.

Snarl! Watch it! Snarl stops the juggling, almost dropping the weapons. Sorry Rat, you and Snarl are gonna have to go without me this time. I have to go see Minerva and Cam for a bit. I'll be back soon though.

As Dinobot roams the halls, he uses the wall comm, Minerva, Cambreaker, if either of you have a moment, can I see you in the med bay?

* Rattrap is bounced about and is holding on for dear life, but in doing so accidentally covers Snarls eyes just outside the bar *
" ME SNARL CANT SEE WHERE ME GOING "
* Snarl falls over his own feet and slides into the bar, narrowly missing GB and Swift, with Rattrap still clinging to him and crashes head on into the bar, the bar folds in two and Rattrap goes flying over it into the back wall *

Rattrap groans as he slides down the wall.

Yeah Snarl, loads of fun. I'll try to not cause a crash next time.

Rattrap tosses a jug of energon to Snarl and they pick out one of the unbroken tables to sit at. Rattrap pours himself a tall glass of energon and watches in awe as Snarl drains the entire jug. Rattrap glances around the bar, seeing the passed out Throttlebots and Goldbug sitting next to a strange looking female transformer.

Green and black, those are funny colors for a 'bot. Wait a minute, those are 'con colors!

Rattrap leaps out of his chair, pulls out his gun, and points it square at the head of the unfamiliar transformer.

Explain yourself!

Blackjack was considering saying something more when the comm. from Dinobot came through. He stood up and walked to the door of Cambreaker's quarters.

Well it looks like you got other business now. I guess that come with the territory of bein the Autobot leada. I'm gonna go take a break down at the bar and then lata I'm gonna have a look at the Royal Flush. I might have an idea for somethin else that we could do.

He leaves the room smiling and walks down the corridors towards the bar.

I actually kinda missed this place.

Meanwhile, Cambreaker, Redline, and Minerva remain in his quarters. Having been repaired to functionality, though missing a few systems, he is finally allowed to sit up on his bunk. He returns Dinobot's comm.

Dinobot, stop in my quarters, we'll talk here. I happen to have our medical officer here with me...

He smiles to Minerva...

We'll be leaving transwarp space soon, so I hope whatever operation you have in mind can wait til after we garner what we need at this destination.

What could he want?

Redline asks.

He's a Warrior, too. And considering his friend Rattrap has a cybertronian body from the transwarp explosion, i can only guess one thing: major upgrades.

Cam smirks.

Can't say that I blame him.
