I like the RGRs too, but I find some of the names a bit poor (powerup VT6, for example?). Very good pricing point though - I like the Booster x10 I got which is very laserbeak like. I think Mrs S has got me the joypad, along with powerup VT6 (handheld games machine) and Spy-Shot too (maybe others I don't know about yet too )

Since some posts have gone missing from yesterday, I thought I would repost the G1 TrU reissue Soundwave I got from Matt yesterday, along with pics of the mold stamp for Goldbug

(these close up pics show some of the plastic "swirling" in the blue I was talking about that kinda cheapens him a little He's still great though)

I get the 'swirlies' on OP's trailers. I worked at a plastics company once (for about 3 months) and I think it has to do with the plastic temperature and how quickly/evenly it cools. It could also be that there was a little of an off-color plastic in there, as the presses are fed with these huge gaylords of tiny plastic chips/balls.

Thanks For the pic Sunstrom guess every reissue has the orginal toystamp of 20 years ago might make getting an orginal G1 imposible all someone will have to do is change the tape door and bingo VHTF orginial G1.

CM the watch meantime isnt expensive at all its only like 7-8 us dollors. Most of the realgears on plan for next year is repaints. As you can tell from Mensors pic 2 are already out there planning another handheld gamesyetem (this time autobot) camra and I think the camcorder.

I got that soundwave too SS. Got It off a shelf in a store. Look at the ravage and You'll see a small i9mage of fort max. If you had a soundblaster and put the ravage inside you will be shown a weakness of fort max.

Must get a soundblaster [ohh and all of the autobot cassettes and combine them with decepticon decals...]

Well Goldbug, I'm not sure how to read it, but if you look at the top of the stamp, there's a circular dial, with some numbers on it and an arrow pointing out one of those numbers. I'm sure it will mean something to help you date it, I just don't know how to interpret it....

Theres a small 07 in there to show its a reissue. [anyone got an enocre soundwave?]

That little dial is usually a little time or date stamp within the mold that they can change. My pre-rub Soundwave has no Hasblow markings, only an identical Takara stamp. He also has some swirlies going on in the plastic.

the watch his name is meantime and they run for about 7.99 + tax and 12.99 + tax for the two packs they are really cool i didnt like them at first then they came out with nightbeat and booster and they reminded me of lazerbeak and buzzsaw so i decided to get them all

My Soundwave has Hasbro and it's an old one. Keep in mind that Soundwave was at the beginning available for three years, allowing date stamp changes...

Also, the whole hip is completely different on the new Soundwaves, check the recorder's buttons.
