I agree. I think every collector's had that oh sh*t moment when they either try to force a piece or a shelf gets bumped and something takes a bad fall. Certainly doesn't mean you stop playing with them. They are toys, after all.

Figures I've broken (that I can readily recall, I'm sure some memories are so painful they've been blocked out):
Masterpiece Scott Bernard Alpha fighter (arm)
Shogun Warriors 5" Dragun (head spikes)
shogun Warriors 5" Great Mazinga (bent front horn 90 degrees)
Shogun Warriors 2-in-1 Grandizer (internal head support)
Marvel Legends 1st appearance (gold)Iron Man (arm)
Bandai Soul of Chogokin Battle Fever Robo (helmet fin)
Inhumanoids Metlar (neck)
Lord of the Rings Mail-Away Uruk-Hai
G1 Prime (while disassembling for a custom)

My wife's previous dog had a taste for Action Force Red Shadow figures. killed at least 4.

wow, I need to be more careful with my toys

Things I've broken in memory:

Armada Jetfire's Comettor... the crappy blue plastic, the chest split. Replacement from Matt, no problem.

G2 Electro- Not even safe if he's MOSC.

Bristleback- hand split when pegging in gun.

Vortex- inner arm panel was cracked when i got him. Replaced the part from a junker, he's fine.

G1 Megatron- Chest separated from waist, since there's only a single screw with a tiny cuff holding it in place. Replacement hip plate with cuff on order. I thought he was made of sterner stuff.

BM Nightscream- Fell off my dresser, lost a leg. Promptly replaced by a spare.

That's the last 6-7 years for me, and I play with all my transformers regularly. Every box comes out at least once a year.

Been awhile but....I built some new shelving units to display my collection. Now this is only a small portion...also I ran out of space. I've gotta build a few more shelves. Most of my collection is still in Storgage bins.

I can't believe I thought Cassettes were the way of the future.

Is +1 on Kups list.
