Well, the entire season is available here in Australia at KMart, Target, JB Hi-Fi and EzyDVD.

There is also a smaller boxed set series available, that is divided up into Season 1, Season 2 (first half), Season 2 (second half), Season 3, etc.

Becuase the plan was to re-release them before the end of 2007 (see promo in the 20th Anniversary edition of the original movie). Right around the time of the new movie, just like all of the toys, all of the TF videos were pulled from the shelf, to make room for movie toys.

The running conspiracy theory is that if there was nothing out there with the TF name on it, other than the movie toys, they thought they would sell more movie toys. According to a couple of my sources that work in retail toys, Hasbro was tracking very closely the sales of the movie toys.

My sources were the folks that worked in the toy stores that I was harrassing about where all the Classics went.

I would assume that unless you had a multi region DVD player, then no. Unless you bought the boxed set, and ripped the entire thing onto your computer to watch. That would work (though it would be a completely round about way to do it). There are a lot of multi region DVDs available though (well, in Australia, anyway).

Well, Scourge (if that's still his name  ) had a hack he just posted, didn't he? Then it wouldn't matter what region it was.

G1 will always be #1 in my opinion! It is my most favorite of all the lines of toys.

Maybe we should wear those "I'm with Stupid" shirts and stand next to them!

Only someone in their 20's or younger could possibly believe that BW came before G1. No one over 30 could possibly make that mistake. (If they did: HIT THEM WITH A BRICK.)

For my part, G1 Toys and and Cartoon are the coolest, and the rest I'm like... meh?

But I never really saw beast wars, but I have a questions... I saw some AUFUL looking 3-D computer animation on YouTube that said it was from "Beast Wars," so... could that that have been true? It's looked... homemade. Really bad if that was what it really was.

I thought the animations for BW were pretty good, especially for the mid 90s. BW was a decent series, which I still haven't finished watching (don't kill me TT)

I thought beast wars was a great cartoon. It started out pretty cool with the animation, and when season 2 and 3 came out, the animation was incredible. I think other than g1, beast wars was the best cartoon.

I've not seen any episodes of it at all--totally Beast Wars illiterate. :( It sounds great from what I've heard everyone say on here, but I probably won't have the chance to check it out. As it is, I'm barely keeping up with TF Animated.

 In my own opinion, it blows the new animated series away by far. But then again, its just my opinion :) If I had a way to burn my episodes of it, I could send some to those who needed it.

You could always do what I did and watch it all over the course of a weekend. Its a pretty excellent series and Mainframe did a nice job animating given the state of CGI.

Well...it is a little slow and predictable but I think that the writers are doing that for plot and character development to get the new fans up to speed.

Hopefully we're just enjoying a lull before the storm, I firmly believe that the sub-plots of Sari, Starscream, Optimus and Spider Girl are coming to a head.
