That was a shock!!! No-one will be afraid to go to Anfield anymore. Every Premier league team will go there and have a go.

i've always found it amusing that every liverpool fan/supporter/enthusiast at the start of a new season thinks they're serious contenders for the premiership, even when they are in possesion of weakest squad of all the "big 4".

i think with the signings they make, people do beleave they are contenders, but rafa (imho) doesnt use players the way he should
e.g. swapping his team every game helps no1, players dont bond and dont get used to each other and learn the strong points of their team mates

on to more important matters DO THE AYEOTOLA CARDIFF /o\ \o/ /o\
ps a great prize to anyone who gets the last line

Thank God for Piranacon, I'm not the only Yank that played/s soccer. I love the game. Often the navy ships put teams together and play against each other. I have found that most people, from the US and in the Navy, are horrid. I used to play D but moved to Striker just so my team could score goals. I've played with smaller ships 200-350 people and they take anyone they can get. We played an aircraft carrier once 3000-5000 people. We were winning 1-0 after I scored then lost 7-1. 6yrs ago now.

We had a bunch of S. American guys that were on the boat, the one I'm on right now, they were really good. We had no keeper so I moved there. We won a lot of games. Good times.

FYI I did happen to be in Germany during to last Cup!!!! No I didn't get to go to a game :(

Are people as passionate about Cricket as they are soccer in the United Kingdom and elsewhere?

Are there Cricket riots and hooligans too?

I hope we do do get Cardiff in the next round of the cup. I mean we just destroyed Arsenal, Liverpool are out and its really only Chelsea left who could stop us getting to the Final.
