I think that's the dessecant TT was talking about. I guess I don't know where to get it, though?

HELP. Now that I have orders to Italy I will have to store most, 90+%, of my TF's. They will be going to my parents house in the basement. It's kinda damp down there. Any suggestions? Oh, I'll be there for about three years.

Sealable plastic containers is what Use to store some of my TF's. If you have a lot of the boxes this can be troublesome.

Yep. I've put some TF's into storgae in them and they seen fine. (but that depends on how large they are. All of the bases and some commers won't fit...)

I don't have any bases but a bunch of newer stuff that is still sealed. Like armada OP and A twin pack of OP/CM energon. Cobminers? Don't they come apart

I bought some of them HUGE (40 gallon) Zip Lock bags, and I'm thinking of putting some of that tasty silicon desiccant in there before I store them.

Meant commanders (stupid spelling errors). Galvatron is the biggest as far as I know.)

A little bump do to a question.

So it is not recommended to stack your transformers boxes? Should I wrap them in big zip lock bags instead, then stack them?

I use the plastic storage containers intended for fishing lures to store my smaller Transformers (minicars, cassettes, smaller combiners, etc.). You can change the size of the compartments in the container by moving little plastic dividers. Great for Star Wars figures, too.

Personally, I don't own much original packaging. It takes up more room and is difficult to store.

I use those large Rubbermaid containers with the lids you can stack one on top of the other. I put acid free comic book/magazine backers on the bottom so the boxes don't become misshapen by the grooves in the bottom of the container. This really helps with carded figures!

After I finish packing them I put a layer of foodservice plastic wrap over the top of the opening of the container. It keeps dust out of the container. I keep my collections in a temperature controlled environment (in the house in a closet) so I think they're pretty safe.
