Kup stares back at Rodimus, with a cold stare in the optics..
"well lad al comms are still on tightbeam so I have no idea how our metal bucket con friend has reached you...."
Kup looks at Sideways,
"well if you're co-operative with the bots then you don't mind if we ran some tests on you wouldya ?, and as long that you walk the base i'm securing you better accept whatever i'm calling you until we find a bond of trust...."
Kup takes an energon drink and tosses a can towards Sideways,
"now spill up Stranger and don't spare the details...."
Just when Kup sits down on a medical table his comm goes off, its Sunstreaker, Kup confirms his message and sends him back towards iacon to be relieved by Cliffjumper

Sideways looks around for a minute before CJ returns with his minicons. Without skipping a beat, the minicon seperates and forms Sideways's Black Helmet which he puts on. His Red eyes flash once and the doors slam closed. He turns to stare Rodimus and Kup who have no idea what is going on.
I am going to tell you my darkest and deepest secrets. This is for your audio receptors only.
As you may or may not know, I was a regular workerbot back before the great war started. I was a nobody, no friends or companions. I lived solely to preform my job functions. That was, until I was kidnapped by Unicron and brainwashed into doing his bidding. I did terrible things to both sides and I have a barely functioning recollection of those events. I remember that you, Rodimus Prime, defeated Galvatron and destroyed Unicron, which broke his hold on my mind.
The doors closing was my doing. As a side effect of being under his control, I was granted certain "powers" which most have worn off today. I I still retain the ability to change my alternate form at will, among others.
When the spell was broken, I returned to Cybertron not knowing that a war was going on between the two factions. I initally sided with the Decepticons because I didn't know any better. I played along pretty well . but over time I became disgusted with their antics and make my ploy to see if you Autobots were any better. I don't know much about either side but It seems that the Autobots hold a higher standard then the Decepticons.
Another 'power' of mine is the ability to tap into any comms I desire. I don't use that power too often cause it brings me harm.
Anyhow, to say the least, I have deleted the Decepticon tendencies and frequecies from my databanks. I give you full permission to check for yourselved to see that I am clean.

I didn't ask you why you were gone, Magnus. I asked you about the binary fleshling presuming our late leader's good name.
His blank look melts away to reveal a bit of anger and frusteration.
Or is that too, a story best saved for later?
He pauses long enough for Magnus to start to nod. Then he grabs the neutrino blaster out of Magnus's hands and looks it over before tossing it back in the crate.
And these weapons WORK. All you need's a good optic sensor and some guts. If you want higher tech, get Rodimus to let me raid some old 'con armories.... or get him to have us do anything for that matter. You're second in command. Getting this pack of petro-rabbits into shape is not my job right now.

...is of no security risk, and I will be happy to discuss it with you at a more convenient time. If it is so important to you, that you feel the need to become hostile, I suggest you discuss it with Arcee. I have fully disclosed the nature of the issue with her. Otherwise, it will have to wait.
Magnus, again surveys the armory. There are a few useful items here, but most would take several shots to come close to peircing the armor of many of the cons. Magnus is unsure if anything here could damage one of the many Decepticon combiners, save for his own weaponry. Times are definitely not as good as they would have seemed when he first arrived.

The sound of twin jet engines can be heard over Iacon suddenly. Jet engines at max speed and Starscream shot into Iacon air space. He slowed down a bit and circled, scanning for any response to his arrival good or bad. He needed to find someone in charge, any one would do and he opened his comm to a general Autobot frequency;
"This is Air Commander Starscream -- I do not come to attack but to warn -- may I land?"

For the love of Primus! can someone please explain how these cons are accessing our comms! Do not respond, I wouldn't trust Starscream as far as I can throw him.
He looks are Arcee and Kup
Can you two figure out a way to respond, but make it look as though the signal is not coming from Iacon, but maybe from an underground location or something away from here. I noticed the auto defenses have targeted him, but they have not moved into action, I'm glad because I would rather keep this place secret until we know for sure we are armed and ready to start our attack.

Kup loads his weapon prior punching some buttons on the mainframe screen
he writes the next message;
security officer Kup ... follow our instructions... keep cirkeling iacon till an Autobot jet accompaings you, .... further briefing will follow then...
"Lad would you like him on a platter or are you going to gut him yourself?" Kup grins

Starscream got the comm from the older Autobot. It had taken long enough. He knew they were scrambling and hastily trying to ready themselves against him if he attacked. But he actually was not interested in that. His attack would be words, words not aimed at the Autobots...

Starscream is not exactly the patient type and after a few clicks of circling he opened his comm again.
"I don't like to be kept waiting -- make your plans to attack me and get the training wings on your Autobot Seeker and get him up here to escort me...time is many things and time is something the lot of you don't have much left of, if I can't speak to someone NOW." He chuckled and added. "And before you shoot me, ask yourself, 'would I really do what I'm doing for nothing? And if I shoot him I will never know'...." The humor in his voice was almost tangible and he abruptly closed his channel, though it was open to receive a reply he hoped would be soon.
