it works out at 41.98GBP or $95.05AUD minus shipping and they ship fairly cheaply

its gonna be released here at TRU

but their prices always suck big time

they charge $49.99AU (about $45US) for G1 colour movie Jazz because no where else sells it

Masterpiece Megatron arrived in the post today, and not a mark on him or the box he's case fresh! (Was a bit worried cause of the postal strike in the UK at the moment, glad he hadn't been smushed somewhere.)

He is great. MP Prime was shaking with fear at the sight of the mighty Decepticon, although he had plenty of time to run and hide while I transformed him. Much more complex then the G1 version but thats to be expected I guess. Will get some pictures up in the new purcashes thread soon, along with the others that I have got recently.

oooh - I'm jealous

Still not sure whether to get one because of feet rusting i've heard of.... can you do anything to prevent it? (apart from never open the box!)

What I read on seibertron -

Some of the ways to save your Megatron are:
WD-40 for protection
Vinegar for rust removal
Clearcoat for protection

I've been too much of a wuss to do any of that though.

We shouldn't have to do it. The cost of them we should have got a quality product instead of that "cosmic rust" infection!

what concerns me is that my UM and Prime MPs are also lots of metal..... I haven't dared look. You think there's any chance of these doing the same? I'm thinking of putting away the UM, given his rarity already

it just seems to be the polished steel on the MP me that is causing the problems. My Prime is fine, I don't have a U.M.

My prime is also fine as far as I can tell. Regarding the 'cosmic rust' I was well aware of it when I decided to get one. I plan to oil his feet up abit with some 3-in-1 to help keep him rust free, and keep an eye on him to catch any rust forming at an early stage.

Apart from the potential rust, he is fantastic!
