heh, i got good lot deals on all of them...only liokaiser broke the bank. Yep i am trying to consolidate space...i'll need to sell some stuff too (watch out for my billboard ad again

$410 is reasonable for a liokaiser [watch out for killbisons gold plastic (which is why I personally have the rescue force euro exclusive version)]. I've seen loose+complete hit $500+.
You did get a steal on those micromaster bases though Overlord, good catch.

Oh how much I want one of those shadow commander armor sets and the nemesis prime that you also need. Shame I can't find a nem prime for less than $75 + shipping, factor in the armor set on top of that and all it equals is

I also saw those $500+ sets flying around..so I thought my deal was somewhat decent. The gold plastic on killbison is nearly the same as Black Zarak's...however i think in the period between masterforce and victory takara managed to refine their gold mixing process...on BZ you can see swirls of black mixed in with the gold..aesthetically it looks nice (imo) but i've read that is indication of where the weak plastic is in terms of the mixing/bonding process. With killbison the color is more uniform and consistnent. I made sure that mine was ok before purchase.

i'm just getting into micromasters now...really liking the concept. i found a bunch of accessories that the bases are missing on the cheap, so hopefully i'll get them complete in a while.

Yep I agree that shadow commander set looks real nice. I missed out on ultra magnus armor (as i dont have UM). However Des why dont you order from hasbro's online store? it's only $25 and it's in stock. I dont know if they ship internationally. If they dont i'm sure one of us here in the U.S. could help you out.

This came today. His chrome is nice and shiny. I like him,

He arrived from a goodwill auction. His weapon arrives soon thanks to Trance and the TFL store. My only complaint is that I don't remember Shrapnel, or any of the Insecticons being so damn short - my Chopshop is much taller than he is.

- Oh, and in the lore of transformers, did Bombshell or the other Insecticons have drivers? I am wondering why he has a cockpit.

wasn't shrapnel one of the waruder [evil] during diaclone, were as nearly all the other molds used for TF's were good [including megatron].

The three Insecticons (not the Deluxe ones) were the only "bad" guys from Diaclone which made it to Transformers. The Waruder drivers are pretty much the same, just with different faces and limbs, but the same dimensions after all.

Megatron is a Microman figure (also of the "good" guys) and they had larger drivers - of the size of a G.I. Joe figure. Diaclone was a spinoff from Microman.
