@TT: Ouch. Mine's only about 45 minutes.
TLA: There were three Defender Primes, one Mindwipe, and now there's only one Bludgeon and Recon Ironhide each. Hehe. Craploads of Brawn, Lockdown, Alliance Bumblebee, Tuner Mudflap, Deluxe Ratchet, but no Armorhide.
I'm officially broke now, and will be even after I get my allowance for this week. We got our tax rebate, so my mom let me get Lockdown and Brawn in exchange for this week's allowance. Used all I had on Recon Ironhide and Bludgeon. So no more TFs for a while, at least until after I get my copy of SoulSilver in about three weeks... No, three weeks exactly.

I'm not sure about Mindwipe, but there'll probably be a Defender Prime.
As for my opinions on the figures:
Bludgeon is great. The only two strikes I have against him are the katana, which could be a tiny bit more firm, so it doesn't warp so easily, and how hard it is to move the torso assembly up and down. Other than that, highly recommended.
Recon Ironhide takes the character from Clint Eastbot to John Rambot in one retool. It's pretty extensive, although there really aren't any big surprises. The weapons are really cool, and the silver "lightning" effect is pretty cool, too. I really like the paint applications on this guy, as they stay fairly accurate to the CGI model, while still differentiating him from past molds; he's mostly black, but several parts are now brown plastic. However, this is at least the fifth Ironhide mold since the original M1, and my third purchased. Unless they pull a Prime with Ironhide and release an extremely accurate, cool, and playable mold for the next movie, he's the last one I'll be buying. And this includes that upcoming Deluxe. Yuck. Recommended, unless you've already bought this mold more than once before.
Lockdown is a success at bringing Animated styles into the movie line. His car mode is really cool, with spikes galore. His transformation is a little advanced compared to most deluxes, and his arms just LOVE to pop off because of the awkward shoulder joints, but, other than that, he's a solid figure. One thing I like to do is leave his head down rather than extend it like in the intructions, because it resembles the Animated version of this character more when left that way. There's nothing big that stands out to me, though. I'd recommend him too, unless you're really not into the Animated style.
Brawn's vehicle mode really reminds me of the first RotF Ironhide. He's got some... odd colors, as there's a lot of green in robot mode, but it doesn't look bad. His feet can be awkward to position, but they're stable if you can get them straight. His dual pistols do like to fall out of his hands, though, so watch out for that. He is, as I'm sure others have noted, a bit of a shellformer, so if you're looking for a really bulky deluxe, you won't find it here, despite Hasbro's stock photos. Despite this, he's a fun figure, and I do recommend him.

And yes, I've seen it. The G1 head... looks odd on the movie design. Same for that custom Arcee, tbh.

I love how the Leader BBee at that show is so mistransformed, he looks like he's been flayed alive...PrimeDirective wrote:http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... res/17864/

Thanks, found it. I rather like the G1 version of ironhide. The shape of the head doesn't bother me at all. I think it just stands out because of the lack of detail on the head. To fit in with the very realistic truck parts he really should have added more panel lines or something to the head.
I got in a massive box transformers today. Tons of g1 parts
and some pretty decent g1 figures:
Bumblebee, power master optimus cab and trailer, scattorshot, omega supreme tank, hound , blurr, 2 ultra magnus trailers and cabs, windcharger, red alert, thrust, blaster-1 missing handle
g2:swindle, complete drench, 2 turbofires, complete strafe
alternator smokescreen
But really a huge amount of KOs too. Defensor, hungg-urr, rippersnapper, cutthroat, micro master railrracer
But them some bizzare ones: power master darkwing, landcross shuttle, guzzle
And some that are KO with the simplified decepticon sticker that aren't based on any transformer I recognize. And what more some of them are clearly intended to combine. Actually looks like a more sophisticated combination than any of the G1 ones.

Well I finally got it. I had to run to WalMart tonight and decided to look at the TF they had and there it was. He was half price at just $30. Man am I happy.
Anyway here is what "IT" is.

172 and counting. :)_
Newest addition to my collection: Generations Blitzwing

Looking for packaging for 20th Anni. Masterpiece Optimus Prime and his axe and Megatron gun. PM me if you have any of these at a reasonable price.

My WalMart had a shelf full (over 30!) at $30.00. That and 30ish ATSTs. They were gone after 15 minutes of hitting $15.00 and $8 respectively. I suspect an "inside" jobOptimus Maximus wrote:Well I finally got it. I had to run to WalMart tonight and decided to look at the TF they had and there it was. He was half price at just $30. TLA I agree he is a great figure and I haven't even had him out of th box for an hour yet. And I think he has just become my favorite of my collection. Oh boy I always thought of myself as a Bot, but lately all I have been buying are Cons.
Banzia there were 3 there tonight. And those insiders really p me off. But hey if was working there I would do the same thing.
