Finally picked up a Superion. The last combiner I needed. Now it's down to just a couple figs and I'm through collecting G1 for a while.

Hi, new to the forum and wow this is great a lot of people here with great tf knowledge. Just wanted to share some recent garage sale and flea market finds. Obviously the fort max is the best one, sold to me for only one dollar! The superion giftset is missing tech specs and had skywarp instructions, but the actual figures are perfect. I would say never transformed due to how tight they are.

No kidding, I have been really lucky as of late. I guess I have met the few people who don't care or know about the four letter website.

Unbelievable! I go to hundreds of garage sales every year and nothing at all close to that ever!!! I'd have been super lucky to just find something like that for sale, even if the seller knew what they were and had reasonable prices>

Haha! Where in the world do you live?? I don't think I've ever seen anything sold for a dollar, let alone a TF, let alone Fort Max!

Welcome, BTW!

It is a KO, possibly the most often KO'd Gobot/MachineRobo ever...waterwalk

And keeping with Chulik's post:

I won a ROTF Soundwave off ebay for $0.22 . That's twenty-two cents, free shipping.
My heart is die-cast.

yeah, kudos to Ramjet for pointing it out to me. Listed as ROTF Soundwave (awful condition). The description was really funny, so I just threw a bid on it, expecting to receive half a figure for a buck or two, if I won at all.

Instead I got a complete figure(sans missle) in fairly good shape:

At Christmas, I deserately wanted an MP Skywarp, but dad was out of money after buying so much stuff, so he was really sad he couldn't get me one. The other day, we were at Wally-World and I hear him laugh. He says it was some KISS action figures and when we get to the front, I see an MP Skywarp (marked down to 20) in the cart.

"What's that for?"

"Your cousin Atticus."

I thought it was looney to give a 10 year old a Masterpiece transformer. We went home, and he reveals that it's for me, not my cousin. We talked bout it.

"That's cool, I say. I threw away my Tech Specs card for the other one, so now I have one."

"Your other one?"

"Yeah. The one I got for my B-Day."

He didn't realize I already had one. Now I have 2.

Welcome, BTW!

I live in the SF bay area. I thought I was dreaming when I first saw it. I also look through CL a whole lot as well as yard sales. I'm only a collector not a dealer. I trade when I find doubles and other tf that I don't really want for stuff I need. Just recently traded a complete Energon Omega supreme that I got to my buddy for a Cerebros gun that I needed.

@ DrAquaFresh: Welcome to the forum! That is one crazy find at only $1. Nice!

Just landed three wins on the evil eBay (not so evil at some of these prices).

I have a G1 Tracks (complete) on the way. Most likely a reissue, but that is fine for .99 cents plus shipping.

Also, I have a G1 Inferno (complete minus some paperwork) which should be here tomorrow. That was only $10 plus shipping.

Lastly, I have Targetmaster Stepper Reissue (Richochet me thinks Complete w/ box) shipping out this way for $20.50 + shipping. Not too bad of a haul. Can't wait for Inferno!

Enjoy the Ebay deals while you can, folks. They seem to be becoming more and more common, and it's all likely to implode on itself in the near future come April Fool's Day (fee increases, ridiculous DSR requirements, etc).

Oh, yeah, my finds... I'm out of TFs I really *need*, so I've been buying KO's and foreign-pseudo knockoffs. Pics to come hopefully later tonight, where I'll answer the (not very) long awaited question:

"What would happen if Willy Wonka got ahold of the blueprints for Omega Supreme, Go Lion and Vehicle Voltron, and decided to go into the toy business?"

Don't worry I am enjoying the deals while they last. I usually pay more than the fig is worth since it fancies me (at the time).

Answer to your question, I have no idea what so ever.

You are right on about 4-1-10, ebay may be killing itself.

And I know the answer to your question, it is a glorious technicolor nightmare and any KO fan will weep at its beauty.
