That is an uncanny twin. Guess it wasn't an original idea.

They are smaller than the Ark sections but I actually think iGear got the design from them. I Have seen more on either Entertainment Earth or Big Bad Toystore can't remember which.

Congrats Optimus Maximus. That's a great g1 haul. I still need Dirge. One of these days, I'll get him!

===

My Classics/Universe/Generations collection is getting closer to complete.

Today the aforementioned arrived today in the form of Grimlock, Astrotrain, & Hot Rod.

I paid too much for Hot Rod, but the other two balanced out the cost nicely. And, anyways this Hot Rod is for my Protector Armor. He matches nicely.

I love the entire set, I am kind of frustrated that I used the reprolabels set on my Overkill. That set would have looked awesome on Grimlock.

I'll try to get some pics up this weekend.

Prices are crazy high for Classics Rodimus. Congrats on getting him, though, along with Astrotrain and Grimlock!

As for me this arrived in the mail today:

I'm going to tell her you forced me to take out a loan from you just for that... ...at 40% interest. When I explain you have kidnapped family members there being held hostage she'll understand. :P

As for me I finally snagged Generations Dirge and Thunderwing. Still no RTS Jazz's in my area though...

Check your local K-Mart(s), it's where I found my RTS figures.

There are no K-marts in my area unfortunately. Same goes for Targets and TRU's... I got lucky and found RTS Tracks at a Walgreens nearby.

My local Wal-Mart Supercenter had only 1 of each of those on the pegs...strange considering they just done a restock. They put loads and loads of HFTD figures out. But even though they have 6-8 pegs clearly marked "Generations" they only put 1 maybe 2 figs tops on each peg.

They probably didn't get much in. I've seen ton of HFTD figures come in on a truck, and like one box of Generations..

Just got in from Wally World. Found Generations Cliffjumper. I think I started off saying I wouldn't get this mold. But, I am sure excited about opening this package in a second. (Still no Thunderwing.)

-- edit --

Does anyone have this mold? If so... When you transform Cliff into vehicle mode, it looks like you are suppose to clip/plug his arm into the inside hood of his vehicle. Mine doesn't appear to be able to plug. It appears that there is about a millimeter of space in between the plug and the hole and I can't get them to plug in.

I bring this up since in vehicle mode there is a gap in between the front half and back half of his vehicle. I can't find whats causing it to not be flush. That is the only thing I noticed that didn't appear to be transformed correctly.

-- done with edit --

I really wanted a Cliffjumper to go with my Bumblebee. I just didn't want to have them be twins. Glad that he looks different from my Bumblebee. I didn't want another repaint. :)

www.toysrus.com has Generations Thunderwing for only $7.99 that's a really good deal too considering nowhere else (online or not) is offering him that cheap.

They also have Bludgeon for 9.99! I am really pulling my hair... I want to place an order! Maybe, I should get a Hubcap, too. A nice little micromaster nod there.

Wow... I never realized I had so much will power!

The walmarts near me had at least 2 thunderwings last time I was there. I can't remember if there were $12 or $14. I don't really care for him though in either mode.

My wife is so awesome! She knows I've been on a frantic search for this figure and while out shopping at Walgreens she snags the only 1 on the peg... :D
